YO I HEARD YOU LIKE TL;CR

STEP ONE: Post with your character!
STEP TWO: Respond to other people's characters with your characters. They will then tell you, in detail, what their character thinks of yours -- and as per the meme's title, tl;dr is encouraged, but not necessary! Don't be afraid to ask others for their characters' first impressions of yours as well.
STEP THREE: Write out tl;dr for whoever comments to you in return.
STEP FOUR: Chat with each other in mutual joy/horror/disgust/delight/confusion at where your CR has gone!
BONUS: Use this for writing up CR charts, or if you already have them written, link to them!

The infuriating thing is that Ronan doesn't hate the Gray Man, and the reason it's infuriating is because he feels like he must. In a way, it's his duty as a good son to hate his father's killer. The fact that he lacks that resentment makes Ronan despise Gray in a different and more complicated way. Being around Gray reminds Ronan just how much he's failing, because he's in awe when he should be disgusted, and he knows in his heart that he's not trying to hurt Gray, he's trying to impress Gray. He wants Gray's approval even though it sickens him whenever he finally gets it.

Ronan can't have his father back, but Gray has done a good job of taking Niall's place. He's similarly distant but highly attentive when it comes to Ronan's achievements. He's not exactly doting but he's very encouraging. He's clever and well-spoken and infinitely charming. Ronan likes him more than he will ever be able to admit. But he's suspicious and terrified of Gray at the same time, having seen what Gray is capable of and having suffered for years because of what Gray's done. Ronan is constantly on edge with him, anticipating a sudden betrayal during which he'll surely find out all of Gray's attention was always an act, that Gray manipulated him and waited to strike when he least expected it. It doesn't seem out of the question after Gray so thoroughly destroyed his life once already.
