YO I HEARD YOU LIKE TL;CR

STEP ONE: Post with your character!
STEP TWO: Respond to other people's characters with your characters. They will then tell you, in detail, what their character thinks of yours -- and as per the meme's title, tl;dr is encouraged, but not necessary! Don't be afraid to ask others for their characters' first impressions of yours as well.
STEP THREE: Write out tl;dr for whoever comments to you in return.
STEP FOUR: Chat with each other in mutual joy/horror/disgust/delight/confusion at where your CR has gone!
BONUS: Use this for writing up CR charts, or if you already have them written, link to them!

Well, Matthew was always Ronan's favorite brother, and now they both know why. Ronan has maybe, kind of, in a way always known that Matthew was the better parts of him distilled into a sort-of person. They got along too well, even after Ronan stopped being capable of getting along with just about everyone else. Matthew's love for him was always boundless, and it was a place Ronan could go back to when he had no other places left. Ever since finding out that he created Matthew, it's become obvious to him that Matthew serves kind of a similar function for him as Aurora did for Niall. Niall could be any kind of bastard, but she would be waiting for him with open arms, ready to shower him with love and comfort.

Ronan doesn't know how to feel about that. It disturbs him to think that he created a person just so he could have a companion, someone who would always adore him, even when he didn't deserve it. And he very often doesn't deserve it. He isn't great when it comes to thinking about others and how his actions might impact them, and here's Matthew, suspended in an infinite loop of acceptance and forgiveness. Ronan knows he's hurt Matthew in more ways than he can count, and he keeps doing it, and it's hard to stop himself because it's much easier to ask for forgiveness than it is to not be shitty in the first place, and Matthew will always forgive him. He's a creature made for enabling. Of course Ronan adores him and wants to do right by him, but when other people would have walked away, Matthew remains there. Without consequences, it's hard for a lesson to stick. Ronan truly hopes, though, that he'll someday find a way to give Matthew real autonomy and a soul of his own, so they can be brother and brother again rather than creator and creation.
