The Dr is already fond of Jaime! And he does get attached to people quickly, whether he wants to or not, so con...grats, you're halfway there. So far, Jaime seems like a smart, brave kid with gumption and lots of heart. He can tell he can/will do great things, and should be encouraged— to a degree! DISCOURAGED FROM FLYING HEADFIRST INTO MISSILES, THOUGH. (But Space Uber was appreciated.)

JUST AS IMPORTANT: the suit is just... mwah. It's gorgeous tech, he's going to want to know everything about it, and whoever built it. Also a very good bug.

anyway, this is cute! this cr is real cute so far despite existing in Two Whole Threads. Which is to say: Jaime really likes the Doctor so far! He's very new to the idea of actually leading people, so anyone who's willing to put their lives on the line when he asks them to, trusts him enough to carry through and is generally being nice about it are immediately on his good side! It means a lot to him and, he thinks, says a lot about the Doctor's character that he was immediately willing to jump into the fray and put his trust in those around them in order to Do The Right Thing. Otherwise, he just seems like a real nice old dude who's not afraid of his gross, gross suit (another point in his favour!) which is swell because Jaime loves his gross poopsuit but literally nobody else does.

TEN FOR YOU, DOCTOR. A GOOD GRAMPS.
