No, and I don't really feel sorry for you. I can tell you've been through something horrific - maybe something that's still ongoing - but I don't think you're some completely helpless bird that needs protecting.

I don't think you're stupid or anything for not being able to read or for being unfamiliar with stuff here, either. I think you were brought up by evil shitheads that didn't treat you well for whatever stupid reason they think was acceptable. I do feel bad that you've had to go through that, but I also think being here will give you a chance to recover and give you those opportunities you deserve. I want better for you and I know from experience that pity isn't the way to go, it gets condescending and ends up bogging both parties down.

Uh. I got healin' powers from the Porter. I can't use it without it draining my own stamina, and I know healers are pretty needed especially when everything goes crazy. I still do it until I collapse, though, 'cause I feel it's all I'm good for. Does that make sense? I know it's not the logical path, but I still do it.
