Then let me put it like this: I'd rather hope that things can be peaceful. And if things are peaceful, I think that's a lot more helpful to everyone.

That might not be a practical way of thinking, though. Practical would be... hope for the best, plan for the worst? But I can get behind that way of thinking, too.
