Do you have doubts?

I am confident in the choices I have made. I know that I was meant to take the throne, to bring a new Empire to the galaxy. I am also confident in my training- I had the best training any Imperial officer could ever aspire to.

However, there are times I doubt my own strength. I know I am capable but I suppose there will always be a part of me who had always listened to my father, as foolish as he was.

Do you wish you could have had his approval?

I wish, at the very least, he would have known how wrong he was about me. That he would have recognized what I was capable of instead of just being 'useless as paper'.

Do you think he suspected before he passed?

Passed is such a nice word for how he died. He didn't pass so much as....explode.

But no, I'm certain he didn't change his mind about me. I at least was able to make him terrified before what must have been a very painful death.

Basically, he rotted from the inside out over the course of a couple days. He bloated up and then...exploded. There wasn't a lot left aside from some hair and bits of bone.

It was truly quite a sight.

And nothing less than he deserved.

I'd rather never see that.

No one deserves that, I don't think.

I know for a fact he did and I have no regrets.
