Of course we are. We never weren't okay.

I don't expect you to fully understand, but after what happened I just had to stay away from some of my friends because... [ugh god he hates this] ...I really wasn't okay, and I'm still not okay. I know when I'm not okay I end up saying or doing things that upset people. I don't want to upset you.

I can't really do anything about it, other than keep you at arm's length until I don't feel so messed up. It sucks, but it has to be like that.

... yeah. It just feels a little bit like... like I'm being punished for something I didn't do. Which is incredibly selfish of me and doesn't even really fit the situation anyway, so I don't bring it up and just... try to keep myself occupied and try to be understanding. You do know yourself and it sounds like you have what's best for both of us in mind.
