I was made to do one thing, I can't change that. [Nor does he particularly want to.] But so long as I've got this one thing I'm good at, I'm going to make sure that I'm pointed at the right targets.

I'm not a hero. Just a fighter with no off switch who throws down for normal people.

Heroes aren't like people think. I'm called a hero of humanity, and my fellow scouts are called the same, for the work we do defending people from titans, and yet my commanding officer had made decisions also thought of as monstrous. I've made decisions some would think are monstrous.

But it is heroic, to do these things that other people don't have the stomach for, yet are needed.
