APP FROM CURSEWORKERS!
Me: I'm Amber, I play Stiles Stilinski (
Canon: The Curseworkers Series by Holly Black.
The three books are all available cheaply on Amazon ($25 for all 3), or you can easily find some pdfs if you google. If you're not a big reader, the audiobooks are read by Jesse Eisenberg and they're really well-read. I have the first two uploaded: White Cat and Red Glove.
Synopsis: (From Wiki) In this alternate world story, workers are rare people with magical abilities that sometimes run in families. Using their abilities requires skin contact and is illegal, which is why most workers are part of crime families. About .001% of the population are workers. Of those, about 60% are luck workers, while other skills, such as death working, emotional manipulation, memory manipulation are less common. The rarest worker is one who can change the shape of things.
Cassel Sharpe comes from a family of workers who are part of one of the major crime families, although he believes himself to have no worker abilities. He is the youngest son with a mother in prison for illegally emotionally working people, a dead father, a death-worker grandfather, and two older brothers who work for the nephew and current heir of one the biggest crime families in the area, the Zacharovs.
Characters:
Lila Zacharov is a beautiful, ruthless young woman who grew up with Cassel, and also the heir to the Zacharov family. A lot of her plot is spoilers, but she's something of a femme fatale, and she also has difficulties reconciling being a "regular" girl in high school and the privilege and power of being a mob boss' daughter.
Barron Sharpe is Cassel's older brother, the middle child. A lot of his plot is also spoilers, but he has some memory issues thanks to cursework. Most of the time he's a charming sociopath who enjoys living a flashy life, but he tries to look out for his family.
Sam Yu is Cassel's high school roommate, and the two eventually become friends. The most normal person in Cassel's life, Sam is easy-going to the point of occasionally being a push-over, though he allows Cassel to get him into trouble and seems to enjoy adventure. He is obsessed with B-grade horror films and wants to work in monster makeup and special effects.
Daneca Wasserman is an outspoken girl in Sam and Cassel's year who befriends them. She is a little bit of a hippie and a little bit of a hipster, with her cool clothes and purple-streaked hair. She's kind of the Hermione Granger of the series, believing strongly in worker rights and taking part in various forms of political activism, including school clubs.
(There are a bunch of others but these guys have the most complexity and pagetime, so they'd probably be easiest to play. But I'd love to play with anyone who takes your fancy!)

Don't worry, you don't have to have any knowledge of the game itself to play.
Anyways. While I would love any character from it, the ones I would most like are fellow draconians, specifically Fonrar. I'll go ahead and give some info on a bunch of them.
- Fonrar, Kang's mate, is one that does not put up with shit. When the males wouldn't teach her and the other females how to even use a sword, she decided FUCK THAT we'll learn on our own. She's smart, and tough, and just plain awesome.
Kang misses her and their four kids a lot. >:
- Slith is a nosy, sneaky bastard, and he's totally Kang's BFF. He was the 2IC of the regiment, but when Kang retired, he was promoted to Commander, and pretty quickly became the General of the entire Teyrian army.
Just look at him. Badass.
- Gloth is not the brightest of draconians when it comes to common sense, but he's not a complete idiot, and is a competent officer and engineer. He's deathly afraid of snakes.
- Hanra and Shanra are affectionately known as the sivak twins, the only two adult females so far, and they constantly bicker with each other over the smallest thing. It's just how they work, though. They give Slith, their shared mate, lots of headaches.
- Granak is a HUUUUGE sivak (easily over nine feet tall), and he is the Minister of Information. He's pretty neutral about most things, and very loyal to Kang. He's also a badass fighter, like all draconians, and he once survived a javelin to the back, between the wings in combat, yelling about getting that damn toothpick removed.
- Huzzad is not a draconian! She's a human Knight of Takhisis, has rode dragons into battle, and became a very good friend of Kang, the females, and the other draconians loyal to him. Sadly, she died in combat, and it'd be both heartbreaking and wonderful to see her again.

I'm also preparing to app Malvo, so I'd be thrilled about anyone from FX's Fargo. Here's a trailer for that one. It's only 10 episodes, guys. Honestly, you should check it out even if you don't wanna app. It's such a good show.

Or best yet the sandman himself?
It'd wreck Pitch's day no matter who showed up, so bring on the Guardians!
I'm also apping either Elphaba from Wicked (musical canon) or Reeve from the mess that is Final Fantasy VII... I need someone on team heroes.

Why, I'll tell you. It's a little game called Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective. It's available for Nintendo DS, iOS, or even in LP form.
The plot: you just got murdered. Damn. You also lost your memory and have no idea who you are or why you died. Double damn. Now you have one night left on Earth as a ghost to solve your own murder.
And sure, people start dying around you left and right. But conveniently, you also have the power to turn back time and undo other people's deaths. Most of the gameplay involves using your ghost powers to prevent other people from dying by gunshots, heart attacks, or getting crushed by 2-ton plaster chickens.
That is literally all I can tell you without spoilers, because this game is a total mindscrew and you will not see any of it coming.
It's cute, fun, and funny with stylish, smooth animation. It also has some spectacularly wonderful characters to choose from. Like:
- Sissel. Main character. Sarcastic, amnesiac ghost who can turn back time and undo death.
- Lynne. Courageous, cheerful detective who gets killed like, 400 times in one night and copes with it disturbingly well.
- Detective Jowd. Detective-turned-death row inmate with ENIGMATIC PAST of course.
- Inspector Cabanela. Lanky lawman in a white coat who literally dances everywhere he goes.
- Missile. Adorable Pomeranian and the cutest goddamn dog in gaming history. Try me.
- Some black cat idek who this guy is, but he's pretty cute anyway.
So basically even if you don't end up apping from it, you should all play/experience the magnificence that is this game, for the love of all that is good.
In summary: Ghost Trick. You'll laugh. You'll cry. You'll do the Panic Dance.

The Bartimaeus Trilogy: OKAY SO I'M PUTTING IN AN APP FOR NATHANIEL THIS ROUND and I would give my everything in the universe for a Bartimaeus or a Kitty Jones.
What is it? The Bartimaeus Trilogy is a YA urban fantasy novel trilogy (technically there's a 4th book but it's disconnected) that takes place in AU London.
What's it about? In this AU London, magicians are the Ruling Class and anyone who isn't a magician (ie 95% of the population) is a "commoner." The government is run entirely by magicians. The whole system is disgustingly classist and corrupt. Magicians all scrabble for power for themselves and seem to care about not much else. Enter Bartimaeus, a demon. In fact, enter many demons! Because you see, here's something that the commoners don't know: magicians get most of their magic from demons-- which regular humans can't see. A magician enslaves a demon and has it do his bidding.
Why should I read it? Oh my god you guys. These books are so great, I wasn't even able to properly fathom how good they were as a wee teenager.
1. There's SO much commentary in them about classism and imperialism and paternalism and slavery and dkjhfas. If that sounds like your kinda thing you will not be disappointed.
2. If you like shades of grey, THESE ARE THE BOOKS FOR YOU. Arguably nobody in this series is good. There's only grey, greyer and black. And yet you still root for the main characters anyway.
3. THEY'RE FUNNY AS HECK. There's so much wit and humour and not taking itself seriously in these books, you guys.
Who's appable? Okay so there are three POV characters-- Nathaniel (who I'm apping), Bartimaeus (the eponymous demon), and Kitty Jones. There are other characters who you could make an argument for being appable but I don't think they'd be particularly interesting in a game environment so I'm not going to waste my breath.
Kitty Jones starts out as a poor commoner girl who hangs around on the streets of London with her fellow thug friends, but eventually becomes a resistance fighter against the magician-run government. She also has a natural-born resistance to magic, to the extent that she can survive an attack that should kill a person. She's smart, resourceful, headstrong, defiant, and isn't taking ANY of Nathaniel's bullshit.
Bartimaeus is the smack-talking demon that has the misfortune of being enslaved to Nathaniel. He can make as many as 20 wisecracks a minute and enjoys taunting his master at every possible opportunity. His existence is long suffering and he would like nothing more than for Nathaniel to slip up one day and make a mistake so he can eat the kid for breakfast :'). Oh, he also has angst about a master he became attached to a long time ago. But that's not important.
Anyway even if you have no intention of apping everyone should READ THIS SERIES I love it so much and I have wanted to play from it for almost nearly a decade. Yeah.

Do you like stories that spawn generations? Do you like
magic ghosts punching other magic ghostscharacters with a great variety of powers and abilities? Do you like fabulousness? Then JOJO'S BIZARRE ADVENTURE is the canon for you! JJBA is a manga/anime that follows the lives of different members of the Joestar family as they fight vampires, serial killers, mob bosses and basically anything that threatens humanity. The manga currently has eight parts and the anime is currently at part III. I'd love characters from any part, but specially from IV (Josuke, Okuyasu, Koichi, Rohan, etc.) since that's where Kira appears.
ENABLE ME:
On a different note, I'm considering a third character. Two options are ones that I played at C&C and one completely new:
♦ Dracula (Screamland) The Dracula, he moved to Los Angeles and became a movie star sometime after the incident with the Harkers. He's full of himself and he dislikes pretty much everything related to humans, but he still pretends to be charming because he likes his paychecks too much. He also has a lot of guilt related to his life choices, but that doesn't stop him from being a jerk.
♦ Klaus Eberbach (From Eroica with Love) A NATO agent with anger issues, the only reason he hasn't gotten fired is because he's incredibly good at his job. He's very serious and rather bigoted (since he was raised by a very strict father during the cold war), but he's actually a good person deep down. He's really proud to be german and a military man, and he hates art and the like for considering them useless.
♦ Jason Naught (Max Steel 2013) An android built by the show's main villain, Miles Dredd, he spent some time as the CEO of Dredd's company before turning to full time villainy. He's actually pretty smart and competent, but no one takes him seriously because he has terrible luck when it comes to his plans not failing spectacularly. He's also all about getting money and power, preferably without effort.
+1

Hannibal: my kingdom for Abigail Hobbs, Freddie needs her girl friend. also, anybody on Team Science because I REALLY LIKE TEAM SCIENCE.
Transformers: look, my kingdom for any kind of Megatron from any continuity ever just to make Starscream's life a living hell (and because how badass would it be to have Megatron ingame???) also special TFA requests for Shockwave because I love him, Sentinel Prime because he's so horrible, Blitzwing because he's horrible in a different way, and Jetfire/Jetstorm because I have a soft spot for tiny twin Russian robots.

The first is Blue Beetle, of course (and it looks like I might just be getting a lovely Brenda!). A story about a boy and the mildly homicidal alien tech fused to his spine, Blue Beetle is a fun, optimistic story with a whole slew of lovable minor characters, from Jaime's parents, to his best friends (regrettably cooler than he is, and one of which may be apping into MoM!!) to his cantankerous mercenary of a mentor. How awesome would it be to have a Peacemaker around? Super awesome.
And the second is Justice League International characters, the ones who knew the Beetle before Jaime! I can best recommend this story as a goofy superhero sitcom that takes a later dip into awful things (thanks Max). I would love to see any of them around! I would especially love Ted, Booster and Guy, but I love the whole team.

Story
Demons exist and their power is beyond what humans can fathom. In fact they are so strong that humans do not stand a chance against them in a fight. The only thing strong enough to defeat a demon is another demon and it is trough this logic that Ryo Asuka hatches the plan to have his good-hearted friend Akira Fudo possessed by a demon. If a person is of pure of heart then he might be able to control the demon that posses him and thereby acquire power equal to a demon (the Devilmen). After raising some hell in a club the plan works and Akira is possessed by the powerful demon known as Amon. Now Akira is mankind's sole champion of justice against the hidden demon menace that has plagued humanity since the dawn of time.
Characters
Ryo Asuka: He is actually Satan, and an hermaphrodite with 12 wings. And Gay.
Akira: He is a Devilman. He is not so Gay/doesn't know if he is gay/he is sense as a rock
Miki: Akira's not girlfriend and Satan had a jealousy tantrum over her so he decided to murder all humans because of it
Silene: Jesus H. Christ demons are hot as fuck
Kaimu: Demons are also stalkers. Silene's biggest admirer
Zenon: Satan's most trusted general, who is also the only demon allowed to fuse with Satan. He is also Satan's cage.
Psycho Jenny: Another of Satan's closest demons. She can manipulate people's memories.
Dosu-Roku + Company: Akira's friends

The plot of the manga centers around Kaiman, who does not remember who he was before he was transfigured by a "Magic User". This transformation left him with a reptile's head, and a desire to find out the truth about who he really is. Accompanied by Nikaido, his female companion, he tracks down Magic Users in the Hole (human world) and unceremoniously chomps down on their head, hoping to find out who it was that put him in this state. One by one, they witness this "second man" inside the head of Kaiman, and after pulling them back out of his mouth he asks them all the same question...
"What did the guy inside my mouth say?"
Dorohedoro has 18 volumes and it's a fast pacing manga. I say fast-pacing because there is A LOT happening, so much that I can't possibly tell you all about it. There are MANY characters, and none of them is ultimately good or ultimately evil. You end up loving them all, at least I know I did BUT I'M PROBABLY BIASED. Dorohedoro has GORE, VIOLENCE, BLOOD, DARK HUMOR, CUTE STUFF, ADORABLE THINGS and MYSTERY.
The author said this about the manga: I wanted to write a series that's like a song with extraordinarily gross and violent lyrics, but with a melody so happy that it makes you want to dance. And that is basically what Dorohedoro is.
Characters:
EVERYONE. But specially Shin.

I mean seriously, what could be more fun than taking absolutely normal teenagers and shoving them into a world of powers and chaos?
It's a cheesy but cute Disney movie series that started out as a Disney Channel Original Movie and spans over three films, the last film ending with the kids' high school graduation (and, of course, thankfully get better with each film.)
Personally I know we would love anyone but are especially gunning for:
Troy Bolton aka the leader of the Wildcats aka Chad's best friend.
Gabriella Montez aka one of the smartest girls in the whole school with the power to change people for the better. Also Troy's girlfriend and one of Ryan's close friends.
Sharpay Evans aka the self-appointed Queen Bee of East High who's actually sort of a mean girl. Also Ryan's twin.
I would sell my left kidney for a Sharpay to be honest (because imagining Sharpay with sonic scream is amazing.)
What elseā¦first two movies are available for streaming on Netflix but can probably be easily found elsewhere, same with movie three. Chad and Ryan are both from early in the second film with plans to be canon-updated a few times over the course of time in MoM. And that's it!

More realistically, I would love to have more Heroes. Sky High, Origami Cyclone, Blue Rose, or really any of them would be fab 'w'
ENABLE ME
1. Ichigo Kurosaki, that one shonen who is like part-everything-in-the-entire-manga of Bleach fame. If I brought him it'd probably be from somewhere in the middle of the Fullbring arc since it spares having to pick three of his ridiculous shinigamihollowquincy powers. u_u
2. Zuko from ATLA, exiled prince hunting the Avatar turned refugee turned Good Guy, with a mountain of daddy issues and the best uncle ever. For him, I'm thinking a Book Three canonpoint, right between Day of Black Sun Pt. 2 and The Western Air Temple, before he's met up with the Gaang but after facing off with his father.
3. Nagi Kengamine from Deadman Wonderland, a really fucked-up manga about a really really fucked-up prison. He's one of this group of people called Deadmen who have the ability to control their blood and use it as a weapon, and they're kept locked in the underground G sector of Deadman Wonderland where they have to fight matches against other Deadmen in what's called the Carnival Corpse, and if they lose, they have to give up a randomly selected body part for study. Oh, and they have collars constantly injecting them with poison, and have to eat an antidote every three days or die. :')
Nagi himself is a really nice and softspoken, kindhearted guy who is also completely and utterly insane. He once murdered 22 men with his bare hands after his pregnant wife was killed, then repressed it entirely and built himself a delusion that his son was alive on a facility on the outside of Deadman Wonderland. I'd be taking him post-death if I chose to app him.
