[ Does he want to luxuriate in the rolling blend of fear and... whatever that is, bleeding out into the Force from where Poe stands defiantly, staring up at him?

He cocks his head, taking one more unhurried step well into the reach of Poe's arms, enjoying the way Poe's head has to tip back to keep a line of sight on him.

His eyes track slowly over Poe's face and come to a curious rest on his lips. ]

[ Ugh. Ugh?? Fine. Fine, he's getting this over with. He still can't reach and even though he's close enough to grab Kylo, all the hairs on the back of his neck are raised and he doesn't really want to grab him. So fuck it. ]

[ He pushes up on his toes and plants a rough kiss where he can reach - which happens to be Kylo's throat. ]

[ It's distressingly, shockingly good. Kylo's breath catches, pulse racing under the press of Poe's mouth. Lips soft, stubble sharp. It's a blunt punch of a kiss, and it's perfect.

He doesn't catch at Poe's upper arms and drag him close, but the idea of doing so lingers long after the moment to act has passed- an illusion, like something constructed by the persistence of vision. He's not certain if it's his realisation of the possibility, or Poe's fear of it. ]
