IT'S LIKE... they don't explicitly say it in canon but he's canonically Arab (yeah, I know, gestures vaguely at anime nonsense) and at one point he asks for non-alcoholic champagne so the fandom mostly rolls with it. The creators put no thought into it but that doesn't mean we won't!! Lester probably would know though! What a good god pal.
