Are you looking for roommates?: If your character is currently housing alone, or planning to move out of their assigned housing. Is your character considering moving to one of our other cities? See who else might be doing the same!
What is your character's job?: And are they sticking with it? Enjoying it? Coordinate with potential coworkers, employers, or patrons -- why not!

RUNDOWN -- what are your character's skills, likes/dislikes, urgent needs?: What are they good at, what do they hate, what do they need (and so on) so that others know what they can offer you.

Character's powers: empathy aka he can feel your feelings and sometimes you can feel his; also his clothes don't get dirty as long as he adheres to a business casual dress code

What is your character's job?: Therapy dog trainer for Hounds for Hurting Hearts, though he's tasked himself with expanding their operations as well because boy doesn't know when to leave anything alone

RUNDOWN -- what are your character's skills, likes/dislikes, urgent needs?:
Former teen terrorist and heir to a space construction and mining business conglomerate the likes of which Elon Musk can only dream. Deceptively polite busybody/professional meddler. Good at piloting, string instruments, hacking + computers but only uses floppy disks like it’s 1995, allegedly battle strategy. Likes animals, music, outer space, nature, and long nonsensical conversations about the nature of humanity and war. Has a complicated relationship with AIs, clones, and suppressing emotions/his empathy. Has never and will never calm down.
What are your character's plans?:
In general: improve imPort-native relations, side-eye the government, generally make the world “better”/safer. In the short term: make the surprised Pikachu face when space robots turn up after the """meteor shower"""
Does your character have a secret identity?: he uses his real name all the time but very few people know that he is actually an accomplished baby terrorist
Is your character open for pairings?: he's still gotta figure out the difference between friendship and crushes first
Are you open to having your character get hurt? Or, for villains, hurt others?: yyy you can give Quatre a literal heart attack just by feeling things strongly enough; on the other side Quatre's the sort of rude child who will just call you out on your sad feelings/unhealthy coping mechanisms, talk to me if you wanna talk (emotional) (or physical) hurt
Is your character interested in teams?: Quatre LOVES TEAMS but HATES REGISTERING WITH SHITTY GOVERNMENTS it's a struggle
What kind of plots are you after?: a lot, I'm on mobile but here's some ideas:
-setting up an adoption policy with his workplace so imPorts can will their dogs(/other pets?) to therapy dog training on case of port-out with a guarantee that they can take them back if they come back in
-other people in animal-adjacent careers too, let's say they go to doggo conferences and talk best methods and such
-roommates!!! Quatre looks polite and nonthreatening but he 1) emotionally eavesdrops on everyone in the house, 2) has at least one illegal handgun hidden in his bedroom, and 3) plays the violin at random hours
-fellow space folks
-fellow rebel/war youths
-normal youths too, he has no idea how to act like you but he's low-key fascinated
-he rides an over the top goth motorcycle like there's nothing ridiculous about it (it's ridiculous)
-avoiding his own problems by trying to solve other people's whether they want him to or not!!!
-metaplot stuff

Hikaru's dream job is to be a trainer for seeing-eye dogs so I am contractually obligated to reach out to Quatre (also as another big robot pilot but yknow details)

hello fellow big robot pilot but more importantly dog contact!! Quatre learned all of his animal training from pokemon characters which... actually worked out pretty well for him and he's happy to spread the wealth as much as he's able!! Except I'm picturing something over the top like them blindfolding themselves and trying to navigate a park to gauge the dogs' training (Quatre cheats with empathy but not on purpose)

Real talk: If he mentions that dog willing idea Ruby would be REALLY DOWN FOR IT, and would try to help however she could. (Partially selfish, because if she could do that, it would remove one barrier from her getting a dog. Not that it's a BIG barrier. She could just justify it to herself) She would also tell him about her dog meet-and-greet plan.

Also: She might come and eavesdrop when she hears him playing the violin. It could end up with them having a nice conversation about music.
For emotional eavesdropping: She often feels frustrated, or just very sad [which she then ends up getting very mad about], just in the process of day to day life. While she very quickly tries to push away those emotions when they get to be a Problem, they're very strong before she does. She also gets REALLY HAPPY when seeing videos of dogs being particularly good or reads articles of dogs saving people. So please feel free to let me know if any of these things seems like it would be fun to mess with!

Ruby is a good bean, thanks Ruby... honestly my main issue with it is trying to find a way to make it interesting to play with (at one point I was going to make a questionnaire that people would have to fill out that was based on Pokemon stats, because we were plotting it with Blue Oak, but since he dropped Quatre wouldn't have any reason to ask for a dog's favorite flavor) so that's my own ooc reason for still sitting on it. HELP HIM, OBI-WAN KERUBY

Quatre mostly saves the emotional eavesdropping for when someone's going through A Lot and suddenly he's there all smiles treating it like a given that they both know she's going through a bad time and there's no shame in it, etc etc, without any consideration for the fact that he's not supposed to know/call people on their emotional drama like that-- it's especially funny when someone doesn't know what his ability is, which I THINK... STILL APPLIES TO RUBY? assuming they don't talk about it in either of our ongoing threads, let's save that for a moment when Ruby's trying to be on the downlow about her feelings and meanwhile Quatre just hands her a cup of tea and asks if she wants to talk about it or something.

RE VIOLIN: Quatre will be playing at the swear-in if Ruby wants to bring it up in public, or we can do something at home when he's practicing/just playing for funsies, whichever is a better time to approach it! Feel free to assume she's heard him before or not, whichever works better for the thread you want to do!

Ruby does her best! Even if she makes some odd mistakes, ahaha. Ruby would so be down with helping people find out what their dogs liked flavour wise.

Oh my gosh. Heck yes. I really hope she gets to be friends with him before she finds out about the empathy thing. Both so she won't be needlesly skittish about it, and because I think it's genuinely hilarious!

Ooh! She might try to talk to him about it on the moon. (It'll give her something to keep her mind off of the fact that she hecking bailed on the team on the moon derby.)

Fortunato is basically a trained child soldier and has participated in Crimes for the good of the world so honestly he and Quatre should be fated to meet. He also is suppressing many, many feelings which could be fun.

And my other character is Cassandra, who also enjoys side-eyeing this government, so there's that too!!

God poor Fortunato's canon sounds like a trip, no wonder he's suppressing a mess of emotions-- so as I mentioned sometimes when people are feeling things super strongly Quatre gets literal heart pangs (it's all very literal "follow your emotions"-type shounen anime nonsense) and he also has a history of considering his life disposable (pre-dating the child soldier thing, it's why he dovetailed so easily into joining the war, he just takes the approach of "so let's go out doing something useful while we're here!!!") so what I'm getting at is it sounds like they could be a real mess of CR. AND meanwhile I keep meaning to tag Cassandra for government and metaplot conspiracy theory rambling, the past few months have just been super spotty for me and I was never able to do it in a timely manner, but I'd be super interested in making it happen  for real this time!

IT IS A TRIP but I'm sure Quatre's also is tbh. That sounds like a good hook for a thread with these guys then! I think I'm going to make a log soon for him, would you like a prompt? Are there places Quatre would be?

And I am always up for Cass just getting hit up with plot questions if Quatre would do so! There also may be some opportunities soon for some post-Atropos divining stuff we're doing.

I would love a prompt if you have time, otherwise I can toss together a starter sometime tomorrow or Tuesday-- Quatre often takes therapy doggos that he's training out and around all of the porter cities and will purposely direct them towards people who could use a cheer up, so it's easy to run into him in parks or out and about. He also spends a lot of time at the beach in Heropa (to ~gaze out at the horizon like a sappy anime character), libraries, and he has no idea how to cook so he goes out for every meal. If none of those work let me know and I'll come up with something to toss at you in the next few days!

hi hello I'm canon-blind, but I love Quatre already!!! and Luther is so so grateful for how helpful he's been. (His now-telepathic brother Klaus is also codenamed Number Four, so once he puts that together name-wise he will be bemused.) Luther is also a former pilot / lived in space for a bit / and isn't a war youth but still a Child Soldier Youth, so there's some interesting commonalities there. basically he appreciates this kid already and I fully intend on stalking him more, the end

So first of all the big joke about Quatre's canon is that everyone has numbers in their names and just coincidentally, like, Quatre is Pilot 04 in Gundam 04 from colony cluster L4, but because no one ever references it ICly I'm playing it like Quatre can't notice how strange this is until it's explicitly pointed out, so: Luther might figure this out before Quatre does, which is hilarious.

I've seen about half of TUA (no worries about spoilers though) and from what I know they'll gel together in really interesting ways! Quatre is technically team leader/team strategist and has a boatload of daddy issues so it's like they'll nod "same hat" at the space thing but it will go so much further than that
