Considering apping into MASK OR MENACE? Want to dip your toes into the setting and get a feel of whether your character will fit into it? Or maybe you're just cruising and want to play around? Then you've come to the right place!

Pick any of the following scenarios below or feel free to make up your own, but don't be afraid to throw yourself at anyone's thread, either!

01. Your memory is hazy and you might feel increasingly frustrated or anxious, or maybe you're excited as soldiers march past, barely glimpsing you. One second you're somewhere underground, the next you're enveloped in blue light, and suddenly you find yourself directly under Flordia sun's bright and burning glare. A female soldier steps toward you with a wide smile on her face and directs you to a car, ready to debrief you. You realize you are not the only one, surrounded by equally confused or eager faces... and you're all sporting a digital tattoo on your wrist.

02. Welcome to Cape Canaveral, where the smell of the ocean is in the air and locals are more than pleased to see new imPorts roaming their streets. They wave, they cheer, they ask for pictures as politely as they can. The more inhuman you look, or if you're wearing a costume, the more likely locals are to approach. Hey, enjoy the moment! The popular malt shop is offering you a free drink if you need it.

03. The technology in this world is certainly something. The cars are clearly modeled after popular 50s cars, but they hover several feet above the ground as they drive down the street. There are digital jukeboxes in restaurants, motorcycles also hover through traffic, advertisements can be seen on a digital projector on the taller buildings. Even kids on skateboards appear to drift a safe ten feet off the ground while playing!

04. Wherever you are, you can hear the loud revving of an engine, distance at first before you finally see it: a hovercar bursting around the corner, going beyond the maximum speed limit and just barely making its sharp turn. It doesn't appear to be slowing down any time soon, not with two police cars trailing it... and uh oh. Those skateboarding kids don't have much time to get out of the way as the car comes speeding down the road. You've been brought here for a reason Hero — so you better act fast.

[The light of the sun felt so warm on her skin. How odd, she felt so cold before. Her body was sore, we neck and head were throbbing. What happened to her? The last thing she remembered was--

She winced as she head started to throb once more.

The female titan. Was she here too? But the trees were gone, as were the rest of her squad. She didn't understand what was going on or why these people were now standing in front of her. They were all so...happy...

Why? How were they even here? Wasn't she just in Wall Maria?]

Excuse me! Please, can someone answer my questions?

[They didn't seem too interesting in speaking to her though, they were very interested in her 3d gear though. She was getting annoyed as they continued to just go about their own business as soon as they were done staring and pointing at her.]

My friends are in danger! I need to find them now!

[ Swinging in the trees with the broken branches, Gunther gazed out at nothing with the frozen look of surprise marring his usual stoicism. Eld and Oluo were scattered across the narrow greenway winding below the trees in more than two places, expressions slack and their eyes half open. Petra had been the one that made him stop, made him look back Sunlight filtering in through the summer swollen green canopy, the outline of her face accentuated where the warm breeze picked up her hair.

She did not have a look of surprise or dead peacefulness affixed to her- no, she was there against the tree gazing upwards where the others did not. Expectant. She had saw him through her eyes glazed over and forced open and looked at him as if she had been waiting. Levi had disappointed for the last time that day.

When Mike had come back to them here, the first thought that came to mind so quickly it left him feeling guilty for it: When will the others come? Only Levi never held to hope and would go mad waiting for the impossible to happen, but after Mike came back Levi found himself coming out to the Cape when news of more imPorts was made known. Looking through the crowds, waiting in spite of himself to see something- someone familiar.

Petra had a voice like birdsong until she needed to bark with a gale like fury over a crowd, and Levi had never forgotten her. ]

Don't call out. [ Levi moved up behind her like a shadow, hand heavy on her narrow shoulder. Eyes fixed on her with a reassurance, silent and only implied as he ever managed. ] Act as if everything is fine and walk with me. Calmly as you can.
