Look at the people around me. They operate on altruism. Kindness. Hope.

But I operate on fear. On vengeance and anger. And even though I took a vow, that darkness lives inside me, clawing to get out. And if you've ever seen what I have-- the worlds where I let that happen-- you would know why I'm not.
