Honestly? No.

I was given a chance by one person. Just one. Everyone else wants to tell me how much I'm doing wrong. Even when I was trying to get everything right.

That's not true. I'm not the person you're talking to just there. I didn't know anything about you and I would've given you a chance but I read things and I hear things and you really screwed yourself. You have no one to blame but yourself, Quentin. You could've just left Peter alone and ignored that he was here and nobody beyond his close friends would've known there was a reason to be wary of you. That's on you.

Well I wasn't one of those people and I actually liked talking to you until I found out how you'd been treating him which I could see for myself and heard from him directly, so I wasn't influenced by those people to whom you're referring.

Have an ounce of accountability. Apologize to him without expecting anything (including an acceptance) in return, and then just leave him alone, avoid his angry friends, and start making friends of your own outside his circles. By putting the blame on everyone else, you're being incredibly childish and it isn't a good look, trust me.
