So what do you like to do? I noticed you told someone above here you want to go ziplining? Is that normal for you?

No, not really. A friend of mine said he'd tried it and liked it and I looked it up online and it looks cool.

What do I like to do? Well, I'm a mermaid, so I like swimming. It's so...peaceful in the ocean. It's weird because I've only been a mermaid for a couple of years but I sort of feel more at home in the sea than I do on land sometimes. I'm not sure why.

I don't really know what I like to do. The thing is...I sort of...never really tried many new things back home. My friend I mentioned? He sort of made me realize that, actually. I suppose I should start trying new things. Now's as good a time as any, I guess.

Your friend sounds like an awesome person!

Maybe the connection you have to the sea as a mermaid made it more real to you now. A mermaid on land is more captive or trapped than free.

Start by trying something small maybe?

He's pretty great.

Maybe. That makes sense.

I'm trying to make some friends that are other women. I figure that's small and huge in equal measure and it's as good a place to start as any.
