Character's powers: Synthesis: Ashley is half synthetic and has remote access and control of networked electronics and an eidetic memory (haha like a harddrive), and she's a human calculator. I have a permissions post for use of her Synthesis which is particularly pertinent to synthetic characters (robots, AIs, androids, cyborgs, etc). She also has Shadow Step, the ability to teleport via shadows to places she's been before; she can take people with her but doesn't know yet that if they don't produce their own light somehow, it's nauseating for them.

Brandon is a former teenage gang member turned mafia hitman who really just cares about his found family and wants to protect people. I swear it makes sense in context.

Skills: hand-to-hand combat, ridiculous accuracy with guns, waiting patiently, making super extra contingency plans with no regard for his own safety and/or life
Likes: other people! (especially those he finds to be especially kind, motivated, or outgoing) fighting as long as no one's dying, feeling useful, fishing
Dislikes: talking more than is very strictly necessary, killing people even though he's a hitman back home, feeling like he's failed the people he cares about, betrayal, himself
Needs: direction in life, friends, self-worth

What are your character's plans?:
For current plot, I'll probably have him sign up for emergency response and he'll definitely be fighting zombies since that's his lot in life and death.

In general, Brandon's focus is on protecting who he can, usually those in the immediate area. He's been kind of directionless since Baelish left, so although he doesn't have specific plans in the long-term he could really use one.

Does your character have a secret identity?: nope
Where can your character commonly be found? City Hall, a local gym (he's picked up boxing here), fishing either at the canal or a bit outside the city, a particular diner. He...does not get out much.
Is your character open for pairings?: I want this very badly but he's Hard Mode
Are you open to having your character get hurt? Or, for villains, hurt others?: absolutely
Is your character interested in teams?: not formally, but he does like to team up with others when the occasion arises
What kind of plots are you after?: Figuring out what he wants to do with his life here, including exploring career options. More found family is always very good - he cares a lot okay he's just bad at expressing things. At some point I want to get him in a situation where he believes it's necessary to kill someone and have him deal with that in-game - he's been getting off too lightly here on that front. Also, there is still nobody who knows he died in his canon update back in January (it's FINE) and really somebody needs to find out.

Wolfwood is a priest and (former) assassin from a desert wasteland sci fi western planet who just wants to leave the world a better place than it is now even. I swear this also makes sense in context.

Skills: general combat skills, giant gun-fu, giving blunt lectures, holding space Protestant(?) funerals, losing copious amounts of blood, driving motorcycles over sand
Likes: cigarettes, alcohol, food, kids, God, idealistic idiots but shh he didn't say that
Dislikes: people who hurt or threaten kids or bystanders, anyone genocidal, people not doing their share of the work, people taking away his cigarettes
Needs: idiot heroes to yell at while he helps them

What are your character's plans?:
He'll be around trying to help keep people safe during the current plot, though he won't be joining any formal efforts. He's also going to have a Shadow to deal with.

More generally, he kind of views being here as a chance to live life in a way that better fits his ideals. He's all for getting involved in big fights to defend the city/the world/an orphanage/etc. and in projects to help disadvantaged kids.

Where can your character commonly be found? Generally around Heropa and less frequently the other Porter cities (not so much Jeopardy). He likes checking out little restaurants and bars, has a few churches he stops by to talk to the priests, does actually get somewhat involved at youth centers, and enjoys hanging around parks or near the ocean.

Are you open to having your character get hurt? Or, for villains, hurt others?: please, his "losing stupid amounts of blood" skill is getting rusty
Is your character interested in teams?: not really
What kind of plots are you after?: So, that shadow! If you want to meet a Wolfwood who actually looks 19, introduces himself as Nicholas, and is actually open instead of just surface friendly now is you chance! Beyond that, I am hoping to do more with Helping the Youth, and just generally having him end up involved in people's lives. Are you a kid or teen looking for a big brother figure? A goofy idealistic protagonist in need of an aggravated straight man who will nevertheless have your back? Someone who just needs a drinking buddy who won't actually get wasted (and might have a problem if he's asked for i.d.)? Wolfwood's got you.

Norman is what happens when a bunch of kids are raised in a completely isolated "orphanage" in a way to develop their brains to maximum potential for the secret purpose of demons eating them. I swear this too makes sense in context.

Skills: solving puzzles and equations, playing games, summarizing the situation in three points, staging elaborate breakouts
Likes: other kids, idealistic/determined people, solving puzzles, taking things apart and putting them back together, not being eaten, no one else being eaten, winning
Dislikes: human-eating demons, selfish people (especially the kind who would work with human-eating demons), people he cares about getting hurt/killed/eaten, losing
Needs: good role models who will teach him to take a balanced approach. please.

What are your character's plans?:
In the short term, Norman's going to end up on the ghost train (chasing after...a six year old). Overall, Norman's big unchanging goal is to get all the kids from Grace Field House, and possibly other farms, here permanently. In the meantime, he's been trying to poke around what parts of the metaplot he can (the OTO and/or Atropos trying to destroy the world kinda needs to be dealt with) and take advantage of all the information around to learn stuff. He's shaken by some cr this year Porting out and may start going unwisely hard on things as a result.

Where can your character commonly be found? Anywhere he can conduct research in any of the Porter cities, playing with some kids in parks in Heropa and De Chima, helping reporters with stories, and just generally poking his nose in places. (not at school)

Is your character interested in teams?: no, but he's always interested in individual allies
What kind of plots are you after?: I'd really love to develop nonhuman cr for Norman, it could do a lot to challenge his particular black-or-white thinking. He's paying close attention to local events in De Chima, and is just generally pursuing any way he can find to gather information. In general, I'd like him to be around big problems with big complicated answers (though participation may be limited since he's, you know, 12). I'd love to have him team up with others in a way that uses his powers!

RUNDOWN -- what are your character's skills, likes/dislikes, urgent needs?: David's great with computers and math, loves to work with it too. he'll happily help anyone who requests it with these topics. His Urgent need is some assistance in getting sleep while he lives in his apartment.
What are your character's plans?: David is looking for a method to get certified as a psychiatrist and talk therapist or possibly a medical doctor. He's also working to help young imPorts adapt and learn to protect themselves.
Does your character have a secret identity?: No. David's a public face.
Where can your character commonly be found? The Grindhouse Coffee Shop and Cafe in De Chima. Running in the woods near the De Chima government housing. Otherwise he's not very predictable.
Is your character open for pairings?: At the moment no, he's kinda sorta involved with Damian. But people flirting with him would be absolutely welcomed from me, even if he'd be shocked.
Are you open to having your character get hurt? Or, for villains, hurt others?: Yes he recently got stabbed a few times. Very cool on this. Make Josh worry about him
Is your character interested in teams?: He will probably entertain the possibility soon, but he's more a support hero that is capable of training others, highly trained in combat methods, and very smart/good with logistics. Someone scoop the boy up
What kind of plots are you after?: Someone talk this guy into being a hero.
Anything else?: Literally any sort of interaction. David needs more friends, especially adults.

What are your character's plans?: Right now she is trying to prepare for the police exam so she can skip the academy. She's going to fail, however, because I run her life and making her go to the academy again is more interesting.

Where can your character commonly be found? The Jeopardy mall (work, not play), at the library in De Chima, or on a beach somewhere, so she's probably in Heropa a lot.

But she's a teddy bear inside, promise. ;) Zelda loves power, cute fat little babies, and Satan. Zelda does not like annoying mortals, pink dresses, and teenage melodramatics. She also sometimes does not like Satan but it's, like, complicated.
What are your character's plans?: Right now she's trying to figure out how to run Sabrina's life so she doesn't have to deal with figuring out her own.

Where can your character commonly be found? She hasn't really settled into any routines yet and she's kind of a homebody so, suggestions are welcome!
Is your character open for pairings?: Yes but beware half a century of baggage
Are you open to having your character get hurt? Or, for villains, hurt others?: I am definitely down for her getting hurt AND her hurting others. Zelda's bark is worse than her bite but she's not beyond using her magic to, at the least, make other people extremely uncomfortable.
Is your character interested in teams?: She isn't but I would love to make her have to work with one!
What kind of plots are you after?: Anything that will let her use her magic, tbh. Stuff that is emotionally challenging, like saving mortals or bonding with people you wouldn't expect her to. Also, she's probably gonna go on an adoption rampage here pretty soon so hmu if you need a mom or auntie.

RUNDOWN -- what are your character's skills, likes/dislikes, urgent needs?: He can get just about anybody to like him (this is a lot easier with humans than with non-humans, but is still possible). He can do this thing where he gets someone to admit their deepest desire, which sometimes they don't even know what it is, so that would be fun to get to use on someone (with player permission). He likes parties, Chloe Decker, alcohol, drugs, the ability to make choices, and the idea of punishing people who deserve it. He dislikes children and cats, but his mind can be changed on either one of those. (He HATES goats, and will never change his mind on that.)
What are your character's plans?: Chloe's moving in with him, so there will be a par-tay to celebrate both that and her birthday, but it will be limited only to people who know them, sorry. He misses owning a nightclub, so he might start looking into opening one here. Otherwise he mostly just lives from day to day.
Does your character have a secret identity?: He's the Devil, but it's not exactly a secret.
Where can your character commonly be found? De Chima because he lives there, the mall in Jeopardy because Chloe works there, or anywhere he might be doing a location shoot for his job

RUNDOWN -- what are your character's skills, likes/dislikes, urgent needs?: He can manipulate anything with a magnetic field (which is a lot). He also speaks several languages, is skilled at hand-to-hand combat, and is a master strategist. Which doesn't always mean that his plans work out like he wants them to! (Most of the time they don't.) He likes mutants and not being judged for what he does. He dislikes genocide and being the target of someone's hatred. (Go ahead, ask him why.) He also dislikes Germans, but he doesn't meet many of those anymore so that's not a problem.
What are your character's plans?: He really has none, although he would still like to put something together to help people practice their powers, especially those who don't know how to use them.

RUNDOWN -- what are your character's skills, likes/dislikes, urgent needs?: Angus is a tiny nerd who is also the World's Greatest Detective! No, really, back home he used to solve murders and hunt down serial killers for a living, it's a whole thing. He's ridiculously earnest and polite, likes solving mysteries and puzzles, reading books, studying magic, and being ridiculously self-sufficient. He's also a big fan of pro wrestling! Dislikes jerks, being patronized, and INJUSTICE. Also, he has a tiny pet Pseudodragon named Caleb Cleveland!
What are your character's plans?: He's been busy working on that weird cypher, and will be following his late Grandpa onto the Ghost Train!

Where can your character commonly be found? He's usually holed up in the Maurtia Falls library, although he has been spending time at the Endeavor Centre lately. He also frequents the coffee shops, and can often be found pestering the guys at the front desk of the MF police department.
