Jonas was beginning to really enjoy human traditions, and was trying to explore his own growing sense of individuality. One of the people he had found himself growing interested in was Kenzi, and spotting her there under a mistletoe made him grin.

Walking up to her, his smile was warm, and intrigued.

"Nice place to stand, there. Brings our conversation of before to mind "

"Does it now?" She grins up at him, raising a brow.

"Well, you're going to have to come down here if you want a kiss."

Jonas doesn't need a second invitation, and he steps in, and bend his head, one hand finding one of her shoulders, as he kisses her, enthusiastically, and without hesitation.

His other hand finds her waist, and when he pulls his head back from that kiss, he does not go far.

"Yum."

Kenzi slips her arms around his shoulders as he pulls her close and kisses her. She lets out a soft hum into the kiss, licking her lips once he pulls back.

"Yum, huh?" She lets out a little laugh.

"Very yum. You have good taste." And since she did not object, he kisses her again, letting himself press against her gently, as his hands stroke along her, ever so lightly, and land on the small of her back.

When he pulls back this time, he grins again.

"I like this tradition."

There's no objection from her. She reciprocates the kiss, meeting him part of the way and letting herself melt against him.

When he pulls back the second time she lets out a breath and blinks at him.

"It's not a bad one."

"Agreed. I find I would be interested in far more of this... with you, anyway."

Jonas thinks she is hot. And he is absolutely not at all afraid of showing it. As she can probably tell, being pressed against him like that.

Kenzi gently extracts herself from him, one hand moving up to fan herself. "Did someone turn the heat on?"

She licks her lips before smiling at him. "Well, I wouldn't be opposed. Just don't expect feelings."

He chuckles at her words, then blinks.

"Why not? I would hardly expect them quickly, if ever, towards me, but you are human are you not? You do feel, yes?"

"I do," she admits. "It's just-- It's a little complicated, okay? I'd rather just keep things on a physical level if that's okay."

Jonas nods. "Of course. I do not know how I will feel another day, but I would never push you to b or do anything you did not want." he shakes his head.

"That is not my way. And in truth, I do not know you and I do not know if I could... feel love." He offers her a hand.

"I am content to keep this physical, yes."

[heartstings]

There's a tenseness in her shoulders that she hadn't realized had crept in until his words get her to relax. She smiles softly and takes his hand.

"Good."

[reborningreen]

"Kenzi. Its good to see you. Happy holidays." And he has no problem with leaning in to press a gentle kiss to her lips. Not a cold one, but definitely no more than a kiss.

"I hope its being a good one."

She gives him a quick peck in return.

"I hope so too. And for you! I hope the holiday is good for you too."

"So far, so good. No doom, yet. I keep waiting." He chuckles and shakes his head.

"Hopefully, it will be a quiet one."

[heartstings]

"Lordt please no more doom."

[reborningreen]

"I know, right? I've had enough for one year..."

He shakes his head.

"So tell me, Miss Malikov, are you standing under that mistletoe deliberately, or by accident?"

[heartstings]

"Same."

She puts on the most innocent smile she can. "Do you take me for the kind of girl that deliberately stands under the mistletoe and waits for cute guys to come along?"

Oliver opens his mouth, closes it, and then shakes his head.

"Miss, I have been married, and that? That is a trap. shame on you." But he is grinning as he says it.

[heartstings]

The mention of having been married causes her smile to falter a little. But she quickly covers it up with a laugh.

"Smart man."

[reborningreen]

"Experience should be good for something." he grins at her, and nods.

"Whatever the situation, I am glad you're here."

[heartstings]

She chuckles softly. "Yeah, it should be."

"It's better than Hel, in any case."

[reborningreen]

He has never known there wee more than one, and nods. "Hell? You've been to the underworld? That sounds like one hell of a story."

Oliver had been a lot of places, but not there, yet.

[heartstings]

"Yeah. A story for another time and some drinks." Somehow talking about the fact that she's dead is simultaneously difficult and easy.
