[ It's hardly the come-around he might've hoped for, but he shifts his plans quickly to compensate. He will take, thanks, and leans up to do just that. But quickly it becomes a kiss he puts a whole lot of effort into: both hands slide to gently cup David's jaw, his head tips accommodatingly, his lips part just so. It's romantically slow and picture-perfect, David's assigned punishment for playful recalcitrance. Show that guy what he could've been having, if he'd just played along like he was supposed to. ]

[Ah, but was it punishment if he received it anyway? And far sweeter than he ever would have imagined. He wished he believed in a god so he could thank them for the kiss, even as he leaned down further to savor it.]

[ This punishment is probably not the best-planned scheme, but Damian feels satisfied nonetheless. He finally draws back again, and looks decidedly smug about it all. Yeah. That'll show David not to procrastinate about it when Damian's trying to scam a kiss out of him. His hands are still at their posts, and a thumb rubs David's cheek fondly. ]
