[ That... should feel like it's declaring something, but it's the truth, and Rex has never considered himself to be anything other than a truthful man. For this, at least, she isn't getting under his skin. ]

Can't say I see the appeal. [ He raises a brow at her. ] Should I?

[ That does catch her off guard a little — and it shows in a missed half-beat, her eyebrows slightly raised at him. If it were anybody else, she might think she was being teased, but. This is Rex. And she knows he's being as honest as ever. Funny, how that warms her, affection swelling suddenly in her chest.

Her grip on his clothes loosens, her palms pressing flat against his chest instead. When she finally answers, her wryness is a bit fond: ]

[ Rex isn't quite sure what he said to engender that response - he hadn't thought very hard about the implications; he just stated the truth as it appeared to him, simple as can be - though he isn't complaining. Andy's love has never been restricted by who she does or doesn't choose to embrace. And Rex... well, Rex doesn't know very much about this sort of thing at all. ]

I'm pretty sure you're not, [ he says wit a little curl of his lip. ] You've had a lot more practice, for one.

[ Rex, don't call your wife a ho. ]

[ It's true. That's one thing Andy doesn't lack — practice. Which really is just a nice way of saying that Rex's wife is a ho. Basic, objective fact. Andy has been known to put the "ho" in "horny." Though all things considered, she's been surprisingly monogamous lately. Does that have something to do with exponential increase in the amount of kissing they've been doing? Is there a scientific correlation there? ]

You and your sweet nothings. [ Wryly: ] It's amazing that nobody else has tried to make out with you before.

Oh? And what makes you think they haven't? Maybe I ought to be offended.

[ They haven't. Well, save for a couple times, but those hardly count. ]

Rex. Do you have a scandalous history I don't know about?

[ She doubts it. But only because she knows him. The man's tall and handsome, with a particular sort of noble bearing that she certainly isn't immune to. It's possible. ]
