Hey I haven't watched much of AoS but I really dig Skye - you do a great job with getting her involved! - but more importantly here:

I love Nathaniel. The only things I know about him is from RP but I've stalked some of your threads as well as been really really pleased with his small budding CR with Billy and I have to say that I super dig this kind of character and I was really happy to be able to play against him! More opportunities, I would love them, please!

OOF that really means a LOT to me. Nathaniel's the kind of character who keeps people at arm's length. He tries his best to be bland at all times and acts like he knows everything so that he can give other people nothing to get one over on him. When he's not being deliberately polite and distant... he's just being a little SHIT. He's not a hero or a villain or a regular guy either, he's difficult to pigeon-hole. So all in all I feel he's definitely on the DIFFICULT end of the scale for people to form CR with. So I'm glad you're enjoying him!

I'm going to throw him out in a post either after I come back from work in 6 or so hours or make a post with him tomorrow, once I've caught up on all his tags, so you'll defs see more opportunities to play with him soon! This week kinda hit me with a sledgehammer.

So I haven't watched AoS at all but Skye is SO MUCH FUN. Her voice is really distinct and her threads are always super entertaining to read, and she's apparently gonna be coworkers with Dick at StarkTech so we should thread lots.

Awww man, like I mentioned, I'm canonblind to AoS but your Skye is great. She's got a distinct voice and she's really enjoyable to read. Especially love stalking Jesse and Skye's threads, oops.

As for Mandrake, again - such a distinct voice! I never would've guessed he is played by the same person who writes Skye! I think you do a great job of making your characters really stand individual from each other.

AHHHH THANK YOU it makes me so happy to hear you say that! Skye is definitely very in line with my "typical" character line up, whereas Mandrake is very atypical, and I wanted to play two very different characters to give me a variety of CR opportunities, but the downside to that is I struggle with his voice a lot more. I'm glad you can hear his voice; it's especially difficult when a character is from a book canon, I think, because you're left to your own devices as to the nuances of their voice and interpretations can end up wildly different. So thank you!!

I haven't really followed Skye as much as I have Mandrake and that's something I should really rectify but let me tell you a thing.

When I was apping into the game I was peeking at the character list and I honest to god squealed when I saw Nathaniel. I devoured those books when each and every one of them came out and was super excited to stalkread up on Nathaniel's current happenings and oh my gosh he's perfect and I love it and I just want to say how super awesome it is that you play him.

Oh gosh that makes me SO happy to hear though. I'm still really nervous and shaky with him; he falls so far outside my normal character range that he's really an effort and I have to think intensely about all his tags. So I'M GLAD. I'm gonna put up a Mandrake post tomorrow (today for you maybe?? w/e in like 8 hours after i've slept) so if you want CR opportunities...!!!

Firstly, I think your Skye is great. The energy she exudes comes through so clearly in her tags, and it's fun to see how she bounces off of other characters around her. She's smart and witty and just awesome. Keep it up!!

And I'm completely canonblind on Nathaniel but I WANT ALL THE CR WITH HIM AND LIGHT? I look forward to student shenanigans together!

OK SO full disclosure I don't really do MCU at all. Like. At all.

I'm fully considering watching AOS just for Skye, and that's because of you.

Skye is interesting and fun, and beyond that, I'm enjoying everything she's doing, and everything that I've gotten to do with her. I love her interaction with Tony, and I love the way she's worming her way into his...I'd say heart but... well you know what I mean.

She's fun and you bring so much to the table in terms of interaction. I always feel like your tags have a lot of heart and interest in them, and you're always looking for ways to make me feel like there's something to go off of, and I notice that with your other threads as well! Skye is fantastic as a character, and I'm really really looking forward to playing with her more.

Admittedly I haven't watched a lot of AoS apart from random episodes and I know nothing about Bartimaeus, but your Skye sounds spot-on and she's a lot of fun to thread with. You do a good job of balancing your characters and I like how you tag around.

Thank you!! I enjoy threading with Watson too. It's true that I sometimes tag around TOO much and overcommit myself, but that's something I'm working on.

I absolutely love Skye! She's adorable and hilarious and even canon blind, it's clear to see that she's absolutely full of personality. Man, I am just super happy that we are playing together regularly. LIKE I HAVE SAID THIS TO A FEW PEOPLE who have come here, but I'm just ... so so so glad for every single one of our threads. Skye and Nathaniel are both handled so well in both their interactions with one another and the setting, and while I know neither of their canons (really), I just really enjoy seeing how they're handling things. I really love these characters, which is just a testament to how good you are.

I love how involved you are with Skye! She is off to a really great start in the game, like, I feel like you've done a great job getting her active and involved and around because I've definitely noticed her around. She's really clever and funny and a joy to read, too, so I've had a lot of fun with our threads so far and hope for more into the future as well. Mandrake I am less familiar with but I've liked what I've seen so far, especially following his recent post -- he's really interesting and I will have to work out who I can toss in his direction at some point! Big thumbs up, basically.

I about lost my shit when I saw Skye's intro on the OOC comm. I've only watched a few episodes but I knew enough to know who she was and be ridiculously excited because of it. Her posts are so much fun to stalk, SIX AVENGERS or TAKE DOWN THIS PICTURE OF MY ASS, all of it. There's an energy that comes with her and the way you play her that's damned infectious, like a feeding frenzy in sharks named Lydia who want to get in on it and feel like they can get in as much or little as they want. It's fun as shit for everyone, basically, and that's something that I really admire. Who cares if the character doesn't know Instagram in canon, they can now figure it out and that gives room for other people to let their characters have something to run with or not run with, gives them a choice. And that? Is p r e t t y cool.

So is our CR and one day there will be some with Nathaniel too watch your back!!!

Also like 99% sure you're the reason I learned how to really manhandle gchat into obeying so I could talk to you about anything and everything so that says a thing or two. Or six.

I have the Bartimaeus Sequence on my shelf at home and one day I will get to actually reading it, but that aside, I wanted to let you know I appreciate how you engage with John, and how in threading with you (SLOWLY I AM SO SORRY THIS IS 100% MY FAULT) I get a good feeling for not only his background, but aspects of his home world and world build, and a sense of things that are important or even just homesick notes for him, and it feels natural. I love the give take you have in your threading in general - I've witnessed more of it than participated, but it's one of those things that I enjoy seeing and during the Summer Games plot logs I really loved watching how you engaged with Skye in everything she did.

I also appreciate your enthusiasm, and how you get your characters out there and engaged with the game and various characters, building relationships with all sorts, helping integrate into lives and making some great connections that at some point I'm totally going to... see about abusing lightly, with tossing Annie at Skye, too, but want to note here as something I appreciate seeing and hope you continue to do going forward.
