All his threads were great to read in his intro, and I appreciated how you had him interacting with people who are surprising to him in different ways, and how he was interfacing and tackling the situation he found himself in where now everyone is teenagers and there's no great big reliable more adult presence to count on in people he might have had for that otherwise.

Bart has this stupid thing to him where he's this mix of infuriatingly vague, confusingly fast, and undeniably good at getting on people's good sides and it's a fun but real challenge I've been going at on his intro. SO YES ITS JUST. Really nice to hear omg thank you
ngl I kind of stalked the YJ/attack on titan drama fest that happened just before this last app cycle so I'm super excited to see more of that unfold C: also ugh i need to finally sit down and get into attack on titan

Your voice is dead-on — like, I can hear his tags as I read them, and they're hilarious and heart-wrenching at the same time. You have that stream-of-consciousness speedster rambling down to an art form and I love all the depth you're giving him while having him be outwardly cheerful and loud and ridiculous, and I love the little hooks you give in comments so there's always something to react to, and... yeah, man, you are perfect.
I'm sooooo glad you apped and we should definitely thread more soon. ♥

Its sometimes so hard to figure out that balance of figuring Bart's talking juuuust slow enough for non-speedsters but still getting that... impatience and quick thought turnover versus just having it be nonsensical babble. So ahhhhh it's really nice to hear that its coming across right ;w; I'm hoping I can nail it down completely to make for quicker tag-backs with more practice!!!!
But just ;WWWWW; thank you so much I'm so glad you're liking him and I'm looking forward to future shenanigans with you guys so much it's a little ridiculous so you bet we're going to thread more asap.

no okay but i'm serious like, i'm afraid all the time that i'm coming on too strong? like i don't wanna be THAT GUY who just heaps on the praise like a creepy weirdo because it's just STRANGE when someone does that, or maybe it's just me but no seriously like. i really love your bart. allow me to reiterate in caps, I REALLY LOVE YOUR BART.
i feel like you really capture his spirit of interaction without going overboard. it's really really fantastic; his speech patterns and the way you assemble his dialogue makes it really easy to see HOW HE COULD CONFUSE OTHER CHARACTERS with his speed and how he communicates. it's INTENTIONAL and it doesn't read as an accident or poor writing, which i think is a really difficult thing to get across. i might be biased since i know the source material, but i really love it.
THERE'S LOTS OF OTHER STUFF I'M REALLY LIKING THE POTENTIAL OF but i'll save that for the next appreciation meme/your hmd for a later date. THANK 4 PLAYING WITH ME

Intentional confusion is so exhausting to write and it's such a slippery slope on whether or not it comes across as an intentional jumble of words and topics or just nonsensical correlation that its just ;w; really, really nice to hear that its coming across well. SO THANK YOU SO MUCH
To turn it around on you though (because it's so happening you can't avoid it) I just have to say that your Wally is everything I aspire Wallys to be. I am forever blown away at how well you write an honest to god organic teenager and it is an absolute pleasure to be able to bounce writing off of that. I've already stepped outside of the kind of RPing I've done in games over the last like... five years in this game and it's honest-to-god pure fun. You and Emilee have this thing where you give tags that are full-on inspiring. Like, I read them and instantly I want to respond back if just to continue building the dialogue and let the conversation grow. You write Wally as a teenager with dumb problems so well. And you write Wally as a superhero with really messed up problems so well. I'm in honest awe at how well you and this entire YJ cast blends the two. And I'm so happy I decided to app in here and bother y'all ;w;
THAT BEING SAID oh gosh so looking forward to plot potential of both the good and stressful kind. Aaaand please never hesitate to give pointers sob. I'm still getting fully comfortable with Bart and seeing as you know speedsters ALL THE POINTERS PLS.
Also all the plot. Never be afraid to reach out to me with ideas I am usually 999999999% game for literally everything.

it's such a common trope to make the happy-go-lucky or cheerful or quick/short-tempered characters into dumb idiots and though the words "dumb idiot" could never be applied to bart BUT LIKE IT JUST HAPPENS SO MUCH and idk like i don't know what else to say besides 'it is like i'm playing with the bart from the show like he became real and then jumped into the game only he gets more screen time'

I just have to +1 to the "I can totally hear his voice in all your comments" thing because it's true! And I can tell you put a ton of care and thought into the tags to keep them as IC and speedstery as possible. Stalking his threads and playing with his has been a delight and I can't wait to see more!

Well, you and Bart, let me just say that even though we've only had like two threads, I am so excited for this CR. Bart is fascinating, and the way you play him really sells the parts of him, the fact that he's from the future, and the fact that he's still getting a handle on things in a lot of ways. I've really loved reading your threads with the YJ cast, and I've enjoyed threading with you as well!
I think you're doing a great, excellent job with him, and the way you tag with him is engaging! I really feel like I'm getting a lot with the tags, and it's a lot of fun to play off of you, and I'm really looking forward to a lot more!
