OTHER THAN THAT OLESIA you have done an excellent job in developing Ruka throughout the years. Have I seen all of it? No, but you do such a good job spelling it out for those of us who are new to the character; she has a really interesting mindset that's been developed throughout the years. It's apparent that she's really the product of "a kid who grew up in a panfandom game," and I think that handling that kind of psychology is outstanding. I look forward to continuing to see her grow.

and aww, thank you!! AS MENTIONED ABOVE, I'm a huge huge proponent of the cause/effect chain for character development--a sort of narrative conservation of detail, or as much as can be done in a panfandom rp environment where you literally can play out the minutia of everyday things. a lot of the big shake-ups to her aren't things i've explicitly planned or orchestrated myself, so in that way i've tried to keep it organic? but man as it turns out playing a kid with both inadequacy issues and abandonment issues in an environment where every relationship ends in horrible uncertain separation is not a smart move if you want someone to stay emotionally healthy for any stretch of time.
spoilers.
and i'm really glad that, even without knowing that whole chain of development (did you know i had to write an in-game history for her don't even read it just look at how long it is and remember that this is like the fifth draft) it still reads as a plausible--and interesting!!--progression. SO THANK YOU FOR BEING INTERESTED
