RUNDOWN -- what are your character's skills, likes/dislikes, urgent needs?: Analytical and ambitious, Chilton values who he considers to be "uniquely minded" individuals, which usually correlates with particular mental/personality disorders. He is overly fond of tie pins and modernistic squiggly chairs.
What are your character's plans?: After this encounter with his no-longer-mandated-psychiatrist, Karla Sofen, and after Danger's murder by former patient Abel Gideon, Chilton has been extraordinarily confident in his own judgement and capability. He wants (and plans, in time) to build a very specific Psychiatric Wing for imPorts, something on par with what he could work with (security-wise) back at the BSHCI. He's begun to lay the foundation with Doctor Connors, but such is still at the inception stage.
Does your character have a secret identity?: No.
Is your character open for pairings?: Was Christmas Freud a real thing? (Yes.)
Are you open to having your character get hurt? Or, for villains, hurt others?: Like all the time.
Is your character interested in teams?: Not a team player.
What kind of plots are you after?: I'd be interested in having Chilton consult, in psychiatric terms, for any imPort who wants to besmirch another imPort's sane repute. Or anything really, I'm open.

I dunno what, but I'd like this cr to continue! I am also open to having Chilton get his claws in Revan's delicate psyche. Or really, I'm cool with whatever you've got.

I think they're really fun as unexpected friends, too! It would be pretty interesting for slips of their pasts to come out -- Chilton's hardly as law-abiding as he pretends, after all. I can see them at higher-ended social functions, for example, and if some mutual darkness (or psychological delicacy, as you mentioned!) begins to show, all the better!

I think that can be defined as uniquely minded! Are you interested in them having a session?

AS MUCH AS I'D LOVE THAT he would rather die than have to do something he wouldn't want to rn(and psychiatric sessions are one of those things). It might be possible in the future though.

For now though CR of any kind would be fine, tbh he would be perfectly willing to admit to stuff chilton might find interesting anyway? Like he'd be totally fine mentioning how he has no interest in helping other people for nothing, going off on philosophical tangents about fear(his world views are very twisted)

A steady flow of interaction sounds good to me! We can get them familiar with each other, and then take it from there -- like you said, for possible future sessions (forced as it would be, we can always think of a circumstance!). I'll keep an eye out for posts!

I have no idea how to make it happen, but I would love Chilton to psychoanalyse Joel more. Or somehow have Joel end up in therapy. Or something. SOMETHING. I know this isn't helpful or specific but. Maybe we can brainstorm/work something out??

Yes! That would be lots of fun -- do you think there's anyone, NPC or otherwise, who might urge Joel to look into some help? Or, we could do a circumstantial situation, like if they were trapped in an elevator (kind of mundane Sarte!) or something of that sort, which could allow for (somewhat malicious) psychoanalysis.

There could arguably be a lot of people who would say Joel needs help, but Joel wouldn't listen to them. Even if Ellie said he needed help (and she probably wouldn't because the concept of therapy just doesn't exist in their post-apocalyptic world, which is all Ellie has ever known), he wouldn't listen to it. SO. Them getting trapped together somewhere, all Satre-esque. Yes. Omg yes. That would totally work.

Joel would probably punch Chilton repeatedly, though, fair warning. Lmao.

Hey, EVERYONE deserves to punch Chilton at least once! I'm going on hiatus until Tuesdayish, but I'm thinking of doing an open log, and this elevator scenario could be a thread?

Absolutely! Chilton isn't quite sure how to handle Lunatic, so that should be fun. Are we keen on logging out their first face to face meeting, perhaps?

That's great! I am just about to go on hiatus for the weekend, but we could do something early September? Chilton's office is also listed, so he could be easily accessible for a sneak meeting.
