It's been a few months, and since I've seen a bunch of people working on their cr charts, it's time for...

i'm necro tagging you after memes

levi + miranda

annie wants nothing to do with levi. it's not even that she can't recognize and admit he has good reasons to be angry and hate her, especially since she personally killed his last squad and was intent on taking away the ONG BIG ADVANTAGE humanity thought it had over the titans at that point, but here, she just. wants to be left alone.

she has no tolerance for what levi does or pulls or says, let alone what other people come to her saying he's said. she thinks he's a corruptive bad influence on armin (hahaha) especially without Eren or Mikasa around to mitigate it. she sees the fractures in the scouting corps present here, and doesn't see levi's superiors doing enough to overcome them.

she sees levi as being unstable. his threats, his attitude, the way he chooses to interface with the titan shifter kids makes her unwilling to ever cooperate with him, or erwin by extension. they're all broken people from a shitty world, and she doesn't want/expect/need the forgiveness of levi for what's happened there, or what might happen there - he's scary. he's a scary dude. and he pisses her off when she hears he's threatening others in regards to relating to the shifters at all... because to her it's that line between the way you feel and the way you manipulate people around you, and violence is not (amusingly enough) the answer she prefers.

MIRANDA SHE REALLY LIKES by contrast, for being level and intelligent and providing all these avenues into places and information that annie wouldn't have had in the same ways. she has appreciated everyone who offered to tutor her for the fact they're willing to try and teach her this stuff she doesn't know or understand on a cultural or inherent level, and being an imPort with more perspective on... well, planets and universes, it translates to degrees in how miranda acts.

so miranda helps by being unfazed and business and matter of fact - life continues, learning never stops, and the terrible things that happen are terrible and not worth repeating, but they're also not the marker of the end!
