the QUESTION meme

Simple and easy! Here's how it goes:

1. POST a top-level with your character name

2. REPLY to other people's top-level with a question for that character

3. ANSWER the question you were asked

4. ASK a question of that person's characters in return!

We go back and forth like this asking questions in a thread until one or both of us runs out of questions!

QUESTIONS CAN BE ANYTHING. Serious or silly as you want! What does Jane think of (x)? What does Sarah have for breakfast? How many times a day does Alex masturbate? What's Tom's dream job? The only limit for questions is your imagination.

Replies can be as monosyllabic or as tl;dr are you want; it's up to you. Go wild kids!

So, what with all the shit she's gotten for her little stunt, does Skye regret her whole hack-into-the-government plan at all?

She doesn't really regret doing it, but she regrets the way she handled it. She was reckless and didn't think about other people, which is her old way of thinking. She's reverted a bit in MoM to how she was before she joined SHIELD, on account of being on her own again. And this was a pretty good wake up call for that-- that she can't be irresponsible and reckless anymore. That she has to think about how her behaviour affects other people. Which is not something she's spent a great deal of her life doing, being alone for most of it.

How's Jaime doing in MoM rn? SotU?

Aw, Skye. YOU CAN LEARN.

And Jaime's state of the union is a constant state of low level stress. He's not actively miserable or anything like that, and spends plenty of time goofing off with friends and distracting himself from all the terribad shit that goes down, but he's nosy and driven by nature, which means he has his fingers in a few plots. There's consistent peripheral cast drama (he goes evil and helps cause an apocalypse in a friend's universe, so that's fun), he's collecting dirt on the government to give to Clark Kent in a journalistic capacity, he's collecting dirt on imPort murderers and had an unfortunate run-in with a creepy clown, and he's quietly working with space cops on spy shit.

...and he's talking to very, very few people about all of the above because it hasn't actually occurred to him how much he's trying to do, seeing as he's very much a supporting player in each of these little plots, not the main person moving it forward. He's just the research guy! SO YEAH SOTU is constantly stressed but not actually aware of the fact because this shit is just normal for him now.

And returning question! If Skye got to go back home, but would lose all of her memories of Heropa in the process, would she do it?

Ughhhhhhhhhhhhh that question is HARD. I don't think Skye knows herself anymore. Up until like a month or so ago if you'd asked her she would have said yes in a heartbeat. She would've said that anything she has going on here isn't as important as her responsibility to what's going on back home.

But the longer she stays here, the harder that decision gets. She doesn't even particularly like this world, tbh. She hates being an imPort and all that comes with it. She wants to go back to being a SHIELD agent. But every day she grows more in love with Jesse, and she's surrounded by so many people who genuinely love and care for her and support her. But she also has her team back home, and they're still Family to her.

So yeah the short answer is I don't actually know. Oops. Sorry.

If Jaime could have one wish, what would he wish for?

Hahah yeah, that was sort of the answer I was expecting - jamjars get tough for social creatures! They make too many friends they're at risk of never seeing them again! :')

and OH GOSH that's a tough one hahah. Altruistically, something lame like world peace - it'd seem kind of gross to have a wish and waste it on yourself.

Non-altruistically, he'll still be boring because his wish would be for money. LOTS OF MONEY. Pay for his and Milagro's college tuition, pay off his folks' mortgage, make sure his dad never has to work a day in the garage again, get his own place, get a super sweet car and a motorcycle and a buttload of electronics............

Yeah it's particularly hard for Skye because she has spent so much of her youth without real friends and attachments, so now that she gets them she clamps on real hard to them :(.

Also haha man that's hard too because a lot of the things she would wish to change are like... not things she would feel comfortable changing, because it would change the past too much and she's uncertain if the results would be good or not (butterfly effect lol), or it would take away the agency of other people. Like "I wish SHIELD hadn't been taken over by Hydra," or "I wish Ward hadn't been Hydra," or "I wish John Garrett didn't exist" lmfao.

She can't even wish for "I wish I'd grown up with my parents" because she isn't even sure if her parents are good people and if that would be a desirable thing.

So then I guess her wish would be "I wish I knew who my parents were/are," but then she'd think that it seems like a terrible waste to use a wish on something trivial like that, and she's chasing it down in canon rn anyway!!

I think she'd just have a total brain meltdown trying to decide what to wish for and just end up wishing for world peace out of sheer I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE FUCK TO DO WITH THIS WISH hahaha.
