Time to bring back one of my old faves...
Simple and easy! Here's how it goes:
1. POST a top-level with your character name
2. REPLY to other people's top-level with a question for that character
3. ANSWER the question you were asked
4. ASK a question of that person's characters in return!
We go back and forth like this asking questions in a thread until one or both of us runs out of questions!
QUESTIONS CAN BE ANYTHING. Serious or silly as you want! What does Jane think of (x)? What does Sarah have for breakfast? How many times a day does Alex masturbate? What's Tom's dream job? The only limit for questions is your imagination.

he could easily get a job at whatever tech firm he wanted, but even when he needed something he wrote it off quickly. there was nothing really special about it, it's just something he's good at, but there are so many varieties of things he's good at. it would feel like a waste when there are more specialized people already doing it.
but the career services job, it at least means something. it's a half-step from social work, and even though it's frustrating and a trial on his patience, anything's going to be. he mostly took it at first because he figured it'd give him a springboard to find something better, but it's kinda grown on him. helping people find work does give him a kind of satisfaction at the end of the day, and he's okay with it.
of course, it also doesn't pay for shit, so he did end up getting a tech gig with malachor industries on the side. guy's gotta pay the bills, plus he's working with a hot jedi knight. so that's a bonus.
BECAUSE I FORGOT TO ASK ONE BEFORE does ward have any plans to turn his reputation around?

i think he lost touch with them somewhere between the move to sanfran and the foundation of utopia, because how do you play that off, how could he make them understand it? "yo so we're seceding nbd!"
after utopia, the only place he was more reluctant to return to than chicago was new york. new york means pretending that everything that happened in the last few years wasn't a big deal, it means getting dragged back into the same game again. chicago means having to face his family after, to confront things he's ashamed of and regrets. it means trying to face his mistakes, and sort out just which decisions were mistakes in the first place. he's scared of that.
it probably would have been his eventual next step after everything with the young avengers, and he misses them terribly. but he's not sure he's ready for it, either.
for loki, how embarrassing would it be if thor ever hung with the ya?

WHILE THOR WAS WORTHY HE WAS PROBABLY PRETTY EMBARRASSING thor hits a lot of his affection pings and i'm sure in front of anyone else that it really kind of throws him off. loki would probably end up being contrary for the sake of being contrary even though there's really nothing to be contrary about. cry more, loki.

Welcome to talking about FreeRei isn't necessarily opposed to swimming with others, but he wouldn't join a team with anyone while here (especially at this canon point) for a few reasons. One, a team is a commitment and he doesn't know how long he'll be here. Two, it would feel in a weird way to him like cheating on his team, WHICH SOUNDS DUMB but with the way the Free boys think about the relay, it feels too much like an unbreakable bond between them. So he could just join a team and not swim relays, except three, they'd want him to swim all the strokes, and while he does know how now he's still only confident with the butterfly, and while the people who knew him before know he's made massive improvement, new people don't know that. It would be humiliating and not beautiful at all.BUT all that said, if he starts getting attached to people here who want to swim with him, he would. He's naturally competitive, so having people to race against and with gives him a lot more motivation to work harder and go faster than just swimming alone. And blah blah sights people have never seen the magic of swimming yadda yadda
