Man, I absolutely adore the way you play Barnaby. It's tough to play characters who are reserved and dignified without having them come across as cold, but you handle that balance incredibly well: Barnaby is incredibly self-possessed, while at the same time very warm and very human. It makes him really interesting and just nice to play with.

Dandy, I have had so much fun playing with you! You've got Elsa down really well - it's been so great seeing her vulnerability and her self-loathing in a setting where everyone's got powers that are equal to or stronger than her own. That's a tough setting to work with, but you've done a great job.

Seriously, though! Your Mandrake is just so goshdarn perfect. I mean, okay, when I was canonblind I loved him enough to be enabled to read the canon, which is very rare for me, because I'm hard to enable. And oh man having read the books...Mandrake is a tricky character, because there's so much about him that's rotten and unadmirable. He's cold, he's standoffish, he's mistrustful: everything about his public face should make him deeply unlovable, and Stroud in the canon pulls a neat trick of balancing that with the poignancy of him just being this sad, broken, damaged kid who tries so hard. You pull the exact same trick with as much grace as the canon does: your Mandrake has that same balance of loveliness and rottenness, where you can understand why he makes the mistakes he does but just want to take him by the shoulders and shake him until he stops making them. As you play him, he's so deeply flawed and deeply human and just so sweet and he just gives me so many feelings that I basically sometimes want to break characterization just so I can have Kitty go and hug him and make him less sad and lonely because oh my GOD HE NEEDS IT SO BAD MY FEELINGS UGH.

Also I'm sure you'll get plenty of compliments on her as well but your Skye is a creature of beauty and Kitty loves senpai so much xoxo

And I believe in my love for you! I have obvs gotten all schmoopy on you before about just how amazing I think you are, but it bears repeating again: I think you're amazing. You have taken this character and you have made her so utterly yours; she has such a fleshed-out, complex, multilayered psychology and personality, such thorny and marvelous motivations. I mean, I'm sure that Card Games On Motorcycles is an interesting canon to begin with, no doubt, but there's also no doubt that you've deepened and complexified this character far beyond what exists in that canon - hell, far beyond what exists in pretty much any canon. She's just a lovely creation, and you really should be proud of her.

I LOVE KARA. She's such a rich and fully-formed character, sometimes I forget she's an OC and not from some TV series. Her voice is so distinct and consistent, you should be proud. I also love that she's a badass character, but she never feels 2edgy in a Hot Topic way. Like... she's seriously the gruff weary old assassin type, but stuck in the form of a hot chick. That's fucking awesome. I feel so lucky that she and Jesse have this relationship they have, so I always have an excuse to tag her. And I think they're going to be growing closer with everything that's going on, which I'm so looking forward to. ♥ Babies...
