You have my sword when it comes to running this OOCly. In terms of organization, I might have mentioned this before but I like the idea of there being specific elements within the 'show' that lead to higher ratings (and earnings for charity, which would make a good motive for characters to participate).

So for example, if there's gratuitous property damage in a fight, that's worth $1000 extra, if there's blatant sexual tension between combatants, that's $5000 raised from an enthusiastic audience. The challenge for players then becomes crafting a fight thread that incorporates as many of these 'checkboxes' as possible, to make their Gladiators successful stars. While characters may genuinely be competing with each other, players will be collaborating to craft the most bombastic, memorable and epic action sequence they can.

And if it's all for charity and fun, it provides an IC justification for the government to grant access to the Sidereal tech!

I enjoy this concept. I long to make every fight with Cu a sensual, destructive masterpiece.

It would also work for the more 'theatrical' fighters out there.
