there's still a little while left before Discount Candy Day officially starts, so

It's Valentine's Day (or Pal-entines, or Gal-entines, or Severely Lacking in Morale-entines Day) and that means it's a day of feelings.

So let's talk about our characters' feelings for one another with...

THE TL;DR CR MEME

♥ post with your characters - if you have a lot, consider a catch-all/nested comments under one header!
♥ respond to other people's characters with your characters
♥ they tell you in detail what their character thinks of your character, ic or ooc! tl;dr is encouraged.
♥ then you react if you want!
♥ other people do the same thing to you!
♥ BONUS: use this for your cr charts, or link them if you've already got them written up!
♥ this meme has been passed down the Armstrong family line for generations

Is there even any point in asking? Whatever, tell me how much Armstrong hates him!

She hates him for a number of reasons. It's not because he's her enemy; she's perfectly capable of respecting her enemies if they're strong and clever. But she sees him as craven, as dishonest. He's not like the Drachmans who challenge her openly, he's a backstabbing snake whose power simply comes from a special stone and the arrays on his hands instead of his own training.

So not only does she see him as untrustworthy and cowardly, she doesn't even respect the source of his power. She would like to shoot him in the face.

He would be rather offended both to be called a coward and by the suggestion that his power isn't his own. Not the Stone sure, that's fair, but he worked for his alchemy damnit!

...not that Kimblee's feelings matter. I find this funny as it's not mutual at all and if he knew how much she hates him would seriously enjoy riling her up whenever possible. Till he got shot for it anyway.

A consummate professional. Even if spies and assassins are a little too much skulking-in-the-shadows for her own personal taste, she knows their value and sees them as a necessary evil. She respects Thane's skills, his professionalism, and sees him as a very valuable resource.

He has absolutely no qualms with being a valuable resource.

She's a little too cheery and soft-hearted to be a good soldier, Olivier thinks. She doesn't see in Jennifer the sort of iron and steel that she demands in her Briggs men. Still, she recognizes that Jennifer's reliable, even if she isn't as hard-as-nails as Olivier prefers.

'tis true- a soldier Jennifer certainly is not.

Even if they've butted heads a few times, she knows Jacob's a skilled soldier and reliable if given a task to complete. But he seems at odds with her own personal views so she's not really intending to trust him with her most secret plans.

Quietly poking my head in. I've mentioned before I've played Hawkeye with Armstrong before, and I'm really liking hearing your opinions since we don't get to see them interacting very often.

Like I was saying on Plurk, Olivier thinks Riza is far too good for Mustang. She respects her skill with a gun, and respects her drive and determination. She'd love to have Hawkeye on her detachment.

Of course, then you run into the whole "femininity" thing we were discussing last night.
