Smeargle: IT DRAWS WITH ITS TAIL, COME ON. Ninjask: Has ninja in the name, hard to see because of its high speed and excellent evasion. Kecleon: Camouflage! Except there's one thing it can't change about itself--the red stripe. Ditto: Shapeshifter. Eevee: A Pokemon that evolves various different ways depending on what it's exposed to and its friendship level with its trainer Manaphy: Born with a special power that allows it to bond with any Pokemon. Can use Heart Swap to switch the perspectives of two people or Pokemon.
i was trying to find pokemon known for their greed, aside from just meowth, but just found this instead. with a grin like gengar's you're really not going to do better.
funnier because kanaya is totally gardevoir.
taking another angle, bastiodon's face is a giant shield.
Meowth because PayDay Sharpedo because dangerous predators of the sea. Like pirates. Rufflet because Assassins are big brave eagles. Edward is not yet a big brave eagle but he's getting there. Charizard because Edward is a Welshman. Although Farfetch'd and Mareep were also given due consideration. Because Welsh Scyther because his double sword game is strong too Exeggutor because Welcome To The Caribbean Mate
Chatot: Pokemon that can learn human words, heaven help us. Altaria: DRAGON. Also, a humming, adorable fluffball. Milotic: A natural mediator, and Luvander has an eye for beauty. Kecleon: Changes type when hit, making it adaptable and hard to one-up in the same way twice. Klinklang: A cog pokémon for the character from a book about steampunk dragons is a bit too obvious to miss. Sylveon: Another natural mediator, and it comes with its own ribbons. What is not to love?
ssh what do you mean I've not intro'd yet: POKEYMANS
Klefkieven though it's the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen oh my god because of a certain affinity with Keyblades Luvdisc because hearts Vanilluxe because it's a conjoined ice cream Floette because the blue one looks like a forget-me-not Glaceon because twinkling away into the Ditto because I am a monster
Marowak: "A Marowak is the evolved form of a Cubone that has grown tough by overcoming the grief of losing its mother. Its tempered and hardened spirit is not easily broken." That's pretty much Normie, without the ferocious temperament. Banette: Not only is it the pokemon that most resembles the venom symbiote, it's also got a similar backstory of how strong feelings of hatred turned it into a pokemon. He probably got it while it was still a Shuppet, though, as Shuppets are attracted to strong feelings of vindictiveness, something Normie had in spades during his brief stint as the Green Goblin. Murkrow: It reminds him of his fiancee, Brenda, who is a costumed hero known as Raptor. Spinarak: It's a green spider. How could he not? Klang: He likes to build stuff, this is pretty much the visualization of building stuff. Sylveon: It's really, really cute. He likes the soothing aura it emits.
Growlithe is a friendly and loyal Pokémon that will fearlessly defend its Trainer and territory from harm, even against larger, stronger enemies. It will fiercely bark at, bite, and chase away any perceived threat, including those who suddenly approach its Trainer. Cute fanart too.
Chansey is mainly seen working at Pokémon Centers throughout the anime. The first instance was in Pokémon Emergency! It's a gentle and kind-hearted Pokémon that shares its nutritious eggs if it sees an injured Pokémon.
Herdier? It is a mystery. But Herdier is very loyal, and it will help its Trainer raise other Pokémon. It has helped Trainers since long ago.
Gogoat can tell how its trainer is feeling by subtle shifts in the grip on its horns. This empathetic sense lets them run as if one being. It has nothing to do with those skiddos waiting outside the station for their trainer to return okay.
Pancham tries to make itself serious towards its foes, but its glare is not so intimidating. If patted on the head, it can't help grinning. Pancham and its evolution, Pangoro, are the only Pokémon that can learn Parting Shot.
Marowak is the evolved form of a Cubone that has overcome its sadness at the loss of its mother and grown tough. This Pokemon's tempered and hardened spirit is not easily broken.
Vivillon: Because a Vivillon has the ability to be calming, such a pokemon would be ideal for someone who is constantly stressing. And the Elegant Pattered Vivillon was a color scheme that would be the most appealing to Ai too.
Oddish: Since Oddish bury themselves in the ground during the day and run around at night, that basically matches Ai's bizarre sleep shedule. Not to mention she would probably keep her Oddish on her desk like a potted plant by the window during the day when she does work.
Skitty: Look at this cute, adorable feline. Not only is Skitty super adorable but they also have trust issues so it takes work to earn their trust. I wonder why this sounds so familiar... oh wait.
Absol: A pokemon that has been described as if seen by people it is rumored that catastrophe soon follows? In her mind she relates to that perfectly. Yep.
Furfrou: The most fabulous canine around so clearly the perfect match for someone who is all about fashion. And as a bonus, her Furfrou would probably have this fur cut style
Zubat: She is such a troll in canon so obviously one of the pokemon well known for being a troll, not to mention it being poison type, is clearly an ideal match. Sorry, not sorry.

Skipping over the requisite 'what are these pokemon things, how do they work' response.
Also, Conan accidentally got the most terrifying team. Whoops.
Murkrow: Superstition regards Murkrow as Pokémon of ominous things to come, and of great misfortune if one is seen at night. Poochyena: Known for its tenacious nature, it chases after prey until the victim becomes exhausted. Haunter: Haunter hides in very dark places, where it plots to take the life of the next living thing that comes near it. Yamask: Yamask is a shadow-like Pokémon holding a mask that has a face from its time as a human. Lampent: Lampent can sense when someone is about to die. Zorua: Zorua keeps its true form hidden to ensure its safety, and takes on the appearance of other Pokémon to frighten off enemies. Sometimes it will take the form of a silent child.
Marowak - mother issues, stronger, more self-assured than Cubone Voltorb - "it is thought that it was created when [a pokeball] was exposed to an energy pulse" sound a LOT like Lana's origin story Typhlosion - has most of the word "explosion" in it (Shiny) Moltres - fire flying type, and the shiny is pink Blaziken - fire fighting type Mudkip - someone has to put out the fires
Edited (accidentally gave her seven) 2015-03-05 23:05 (UTC)
Kecleon - it's a camouflage pokemon Dunsparce - look at it. it's trying to fly but it can't. how pathetic is that? Ditto - can blend into any situation Snorlax - the fucking laziest pokemon, I'm surprised the sprite is even standing up Teddiursa - it's a teddy bear! it's totally nonthreatening! Bidoof - it's a beaver! and fluffy! (Notice that these are all Normal type Pokemon)
