Well I jumped from a thousand years in the past, so trying to get up to date has been a pretty high priority.

Ah, so it's that kind of time displacement for you. I imagine some of the technologies are more intuitive than others. America presents one idea of what people consider "standard" these days.

Still, there's enough specialized equipment, were you focusing on what has practical relevance to your living circumstances first?

I've started out with the basics. Microwaves, as you can see. Radiators. Toasters. Mainly so I don't get myself killed in my own home. Kind of started to try peeking into how radio towers work though.

Radio towers, satellites, short wave radio, long wave radio - waves in general might be something you'd like looking into. Physics and mechanical engineering.

Yeah, that one was always obvious. We've had thunder-based dragons that proved as such near the ocean.

I actually am primarily interested in the physics side of things since that's really where my studies have always focused on.

According to the modern maps, I was from somewhere around Northern Europe, so you're probably right. They're hardly mythological though.

It's not like both don't have a place in mythology. Specialized clothing that served to consume or augment the wearer is standard in various cultures worldwide. So are dragons.

There's a simple solution for that.
