Sure I am. I care if I've hurt them, or if they need something from me. But people who are annoyed by my chatting? No, I don't really care about them.

If you're trying to hurt my feelings, you're really going about it the wrong way, you know. I'd like people to like me and all, but if they can't do that then I'd like them to be annoyed by me. Annoyance means I'm getting to them. Annoyance means I get under their skin. If my win comes because I irritate them into submission, it's still a win and I'll take it.

No? I don't know, what do you want me to say? I haven't any idea who you are or what you're annoyed by, so if it's like me belching in public then yeah I'm cutting down on the soda but if it's me getting all righteous about causes then no I don't think it's going away.

If it helps, I hardly find you annoying. As for the question, do you find it hard to strike a balance between people rallying behind your causes because of your celebrity and people rallying behind your causes because they believe in you? I have a feeling it would be an interesting mix of the two.

As for the rest...Honestly, I don't really try to strike a balance. I mean - I might be worried about people just being starstruck if I were, like, doing things that are morally perilous, if I were encouraging them to do things they might end up regretting. But if they donate money to literacy programs just 'cause some girl who was on the news told 'em to - well, if they get disenchanted later on, there's still someone who knows how to read now, and that doesn't go away. There's going to be a point where I'm not cool any longer, where I'm not famous, so while I've got this I'm going to exploit it one hundred percent.
