Sure I am. I care if I've hurt them, or if they need something from me. But people who are annoyed by my chatting? No, I don't really care about them.

No. I care about people when they care about things that matter. Just getting tetchy over me being me doesn't actually matter to me all that much. If my chatting actually literally makes someone's head explode, then yeah, I'll start feeling rotten, but until that happens they can just deal.
