01. Your memory is hazy and you might feel increasingly frustrated or anxious, or maybe you're excited as soldiers march past, barely glimpsing you. One second you're somewhere underground, the next you're enveloped in blue light, and suddenly you find yourself directly under Flordia sun's bright and burning glare. A female soldier steps toward you with a wide smile on her face and directs you to a car, ready to debrief you. You realize you are not the only one, surrounded by equally confused or eager faces... and you're all sporting a digital tattoo on your wrist.

02. Welcome to Cape Canaveral, where the smell of the ocean is in the air and locals are more than pleased to see new imPorts roaming their streets. They wave, they cheer, they ask for pictures as politely as they can. The more inhuman you look, or if you're wearing a costume, the more likely locals are to approach. Hey, enjoy the moment! The popular malt shop is offering you a free drink if you need it.

03. The technology in this world is certainly something. The cars are clearly modeled after popular 50s cars, but they hover several feet above the ground as they drive down the street. There are digital jukeboxes in restaurants, motorcycles also hover through traffic, advertisements can be seen on a digital projector on the taller buildings. Even kids on skateboards appear to drift a safe ten feet off the ground while playing!

04. Wherever you are, you can hear the loud revving of an engine, distance at first before you finally see it: a hovercar bursting around the corner, going beyond the maximum speed limit and just barely making its sharp turn. It doesn't appear to be slowing down any time soon, not with two police cars trailing it... and uh oh. Those skateboarding kids don't have much time to get out of the way as the car comes speeding down the road. You've been brought here for a reason Hero — so you better act fast.

"Now now, nobody said anything about trust." Harry drops his chin; it has the added effect of making his expression look all the more severe even as his features smooth themselves out again. "Come on, mate. What's the verdict?"

Harry looks rather serious about this, and well... Inumuta isn't one to turn down someone who seems so intent on proving himself. Not when it could result in something fascinating. Besides... Sanageyama would bail him out if he really fell into trouble here, wouldn't he?

"Alright, alright, fine. You seem interesting enough that I'm intrigued. There may be something I'm curious to look at first-hand here. And then we'll both see if Mister Acquisitions is really as talented as he says he is."

[backpedal]

"You, my friend, have just found yourself a deal." And with that, he holds out one rust-stained palm to seal their business partnership.

God man, do you ever wash your hands? Is that blood? You're getting some serious squinting at for that one.

"... We don't shake hands in my culture. We bow." Yeah, this is him trying to get away with not touching your nasty hand. Consider Purell next time. But at least to follow through with it, he does pull his seat back a little, stand up, and bow forward a little. Just a little. A 70 degree angle at best here.

It's just his blood, what's all the fuss about. Gosh.

"Yeah all right. Might want to get used to the touching bit seeing as how we're more than a few hours from 'your culture'." Hard as he emphasizes those words it's not exactly clear whether he knows it's a cop out or not...

Or whether he's slightly fussed about it. Not that anyone cares.

Who knows what you have. He's still not entirely convinced you're not a hobo.

"One's culture doesn't leave them simply because they left their country. I'm sure I'll get used to the touching bit with time." Just not starting off with your bloody hands.

Maybe. He can hear the 'I'm fussed' in Harry's tone, and if he is going to take advantage of this guy later, he'd rather it was at least on better terms for a longer amount of time. "I'm sorry if you're feeling disrespected by this. Would you really feel better if I did shake your hand?"

"Oh come on, princess, don't go getting all emotional on me." Not that he doesn't love being catered to, he just doesn't want to ask for it. Cheapens the whole experience, really.

"Good luck with settling in. If you need me, you know where to find me."
