I'm desperately homesick here, and a bit lonely. I like some of you - really, I do - but it's not the same.

I've got something of an addiction to Tetris. I played it for two hours straight one evening.

I've killed four people since I arrived. Natives. I'm not on very good behavior here, but I am on better behavior than I am at home.

Didn't rob that bank, though.

It's a marvel, isn't it? Really, I haven't found a video game that I haven't liked.

Two were men that broke into my flat during the-- well, you weren't here for it, but we had a blackout in all the imPort cities. They thought they'd rob me, and I shot them.

[Because that's a perfectly normal reaction, clearly.]

The other two were business. Men I was working with who fucked me over.

You couldn't have come up with anything else to do in response to the business ventures than murder?

I could've come up with alternatives in both cases, but I didn't, because I decided that murder was the best option there.

If it makes you feel better, mate, the men I was doing business with were very, very bad people.

Truly, no, it doesn't. I am sorry, but this is not a way of life I can give my approval to. I do not hate you, I simply cannot approve of such measures.

I am not, for the record, judging you. God knows I contemplated murder once. I thought about it at great length and with very little thought towards if it was right or not. I have no ground to stand on, there. This is... disappointing, I think is perhaps the best word for it.

I think loneliness is one of those gender-neutral miseries no one likes to talk about.

But it's more expected of men to keep it to themselves, isn't it.

It might be different in your day, of course. Do men talk about their feelings more in the future?

Not all of them. Usually the ones you least want to hear it from are fucking nonstop.

And what sorts of feelings do they talk about? Good ones, bad ones, worries, traumas...?

Yeah. But there's a good number of people who come around to thinking it's better.

I was framed for bank robbery a couple months ago.

Gemini de Mille, who thought she could blackmail me into doing her bidding, and when I refused despite the threats-- well.

She's prideful, and not at all careful. Likely has far more power than she does intelligence. I'm keeping quiet about what I know, because I'm gonna deal with her in my own way.
