Wells' impression of Gogo is that she's someone who knows she's smart, but doesn't feel the need to be arrogant because of it. He appreciates that confidence and it's why he so readily offered to have her work with him. He's always looking out for talented people and thinks she has that mental spark he so likes. How things go from here is to be seen, but as far as first impressions go he has taken a liking to her.

Tadashi had a lot of mixed feelings about Callaghan before the guy even showed up. For him? None of the horrible nastiness has happened yet so he doesn't feel like he, personally, has a right to hate the guy. But then everyone he's seen from home up until this point have all come after his death, so they have every right to hate him. And because he's so empathetic to other people's needs (including the need to be angry at someone who's wronged them), he's so damned torn about how he's supposed to feel. If it were just him, his brother, and Callaghan here? He could probably sit the two down and talk this out and figure something out. But since it's literally almost everyone involved now, there are too many emotions to take into account; he doesn't feel like he can rightfully ignore everyone else's feelings about the situation and just act like nothing's happened (even if it hasn't for him). If he'd been kept in the dark, maybe he would! But he knows what's going to happen if he gets ported out now and he knows how first hand how that will affect everything - the people in his lives, the expo, the Silent Sparrow portals, and Abigail. He knows his death is the tipping point getting the ball rolling.

And he doesn't want that to be the case.

At the same time? For him personally, Callaghan was always a point to strive for. The guy's a technical visionary that didn't get caught up in the money or fame of it all Krei and pushes other people to their full potential knowing what they're capable of - the same way of thinking Tadashi has for Hiro (and had he lived, everyone else in his life. Who knows what career direction he might've gone). So he was a mentor not only with robotics and his academics, but as a way to live and treat people as well; Robert never really talked down to anyone that Tadashi could see, only ever spoke in ways that would spike their interest/nerve and get the motivated to move again. And while Tadashi's a little more laid back in his attitudes to people, that's the sort of impact he wants to have when he gets down to it.

And then there's that horrible horrible thing he blurted out and then promptly asked Robert to forget he said, about almost being the closest thing to a father he's had since his died, ha ha ha. Tadashi gets close to people very easily, and Callaghan taking him under his wing after reviewing his project's preliminary work only helped foster that view of him, as well as the little stuff we've talked about around the lab. Callaghan has that instinctive fatherly kind of personality when he's not being a teacher, and he can't help but see that.

But Tadashi also knows there's that ugly side, multiple stories confirmed it to him now. Knows what Callaghan is capable of and a little part of him is so afraid of that and why he's taken every chance to remind Robert the promise he's made here - to not start anything. Because if it comes down to Cal or his brother? He's going to choose his brother with the knowledge he has about the situation now. But he just really hopes it never comes down to that.

Tiffany thinks Jesse is pretty damn cool, and she was definitely telling the truth when she said taking her to Disney World was one of the nicest things anybody has ever done for her. She appreciates that he seems to come from a disadvantaged situation similar to hers, and finds that familiarity to be a huge relief when she's otherwise surrounded by nonhumans, people from different time periods, people from other worlds, etc.

Plus she thinks he's really easy on the eyes tbh.

So, Ripley likes everyone, but sometimes adults are harder to like because some adults are grumpy and not willing to be silly anymore and absolutely 0 fun. Like Counselor Jen. (Except Jen is cool because she’s Jen.) That is so not a problem with Castle though. He gets excited about stuff, and goes along with stupid(ly awesome) ideas, and likes adventure, and he’s generally just fun. He remembers that life can be awesome if you make it awesome, and she really appreciates adult type people who are like that. It can be pretty rare.

The other thing about Castle that she actually likes about him, but would never have expected to, is that she feels like if she were to do something or say she was gonna do something that’s actually legitimately a terrible idea, he would stop her. He’s responsible like that and she know she kinda needs that in her life. If she didn’t have that she would eat ice cream for dinner every night. He kinda reminds her of her dad, and that’s comforting considering she’s actually pretty alone in MoM.

She’s been thinking a lot about taking him up on that offer to be a Lumberjane leader by the way. He might not be a lady-type, but there can be an exception.
