Like Walt's feelings on this, it's complicated.

Crane, in-character? It's not complicated at all. Walt was relevant. He provided him with what he needed; a laboratory, materials, and a man who asked no questions. The problem is Walt wanted Crane's friendship; which is something he isn't capable of understanding on a personal level. I'll paste this from his texts with Bruce because it covers it beautifully:

You have no friends, only people who you can use, who can provide you with something: whether it's direction or satisfaction. You look down on Chilton; you haven't even for him the respect of a predator for his prey, only contempt. You can't pretend to call that friendship or enmity.

But I'm not like Chilton. You respect me, don't you, Scarecrow? I am your enemy and your friend, because I embrace fear. We share a common interest, and one far more personal to you than the blunt tool Chilton calls psychology.

That's it in a nutshell. Basically, Walt needs to show he embraces fear and has a personal interest in it. Then things might turn to the bright side. Bright in the sense of a Georgian summer drought as far as Crane's behavior is concerned BUT IT'S PROGRESS.

Also, Walt wanted to know about his work academically too early in their relationship, in my opinion. Crane's a solitary person who doesn't want friends. Walt is. He made moves to get Crane to reciprocate too early. Not that he would have returned the friendship any later. But Crane's not going to spill it to a fellow chemist this early. His work's extremely intimate. There's a reason he gets fearboners. Do you want to be the source of his next fearboner, Walt? :|

He finds her amusingly goody-two-shoes and is p sure she'd be immensely disgusted by who he really is. He enjoys her company but he's putting on an act for most of it. A better act than most people get!!!

House dad. Mom? A parental 2-in-1 tbh.

Ken's everyday life back home is screwed up enough that Charlie being an 80-year-old wizard doesn't really surprise him, but then again their roommate is a 7 foot giant with horns and a torso as wide as Ken is long so maybe that's a given. Charlie's surprisingly ordinary compared to almost everybody else Ken's met, but he appreciates that. It was nice to have someone offer to go look for parks with Koro on the first day and ask about leashes and Charlie probably gets thrown questions from across the living room sometimes while Ken's reading for his homework and something comes up that he's confused about. You can't really ask the Iron Bull about American history.

Charlie was the first non-SEES guy Ken talked to so barring castmates, he's the person Ken's known the longest here. And he's glad he stuck around because it's really, really nice to tumble back into Nonah #005 and be able to call out an "I'm home" and that if Charlie's home, he'll get a response back. It's nice to be able to call it home at all! But the fact that there's a guy there that's been there since day one adds to that. The two of them and Bull've shuffled through roommates a few times now and Ken's been jittery about all the newer people who end up there, so the fact that Charlie's been a constant companion around here is way more reassuring than Ken will admit in words. But he does appreciate him a lot and he really likes him. Ken's come to really like all the friends he's gained here, and Charlie's pretty high up on the list of things he wishes he could keep with him.

fixing this mess of a tldr

Abduxel in this log is ultra pissy because he considers Will to be invading his territory and cheating the game. He thought he had Will had a very far arms-length with regard to the investigation into Father Daniels, but now suddenly he's HERE, just silently STARING at his horns with that suspicious reaction, and friends with Mike. It almost feels like a betrayal, because he thought the pieces were in one place when they were really in a totally different, much more potentially threatening configuration. He has no idea how much Will knows, but he's ultra suspicious that Mike told him at least something of what happened when he got burned by holy water or maybe Mug-gate 2015 #neverforget

Previous to this incident he thought he was just a cat batting around Will the Mouse a little and not much else. His home life seems ... weird ... like all the fucking cannibals everywhere, what's with that? And his history with Lecter, his relationship with Chilton etc are all very interesting, but he has so few pieces of the puzzle that he doesn't have coherent thoughts strung together about it really. He never really thought of Will as terribly socially awkward because lbr Abduxel is fucking weird in social situations and he hangs out with, like, Crane, so.

Now he feels more like there's a snake in his boot, since he's worried Will might take legal action or reveal to everyone what he did [if he knows], and he's in a bad mood about having been [what he thinks of as] tricked.

Of course he also knows Will is Dorian's "project" and that Will has the couch Abduxel bled out on, and those things are just funny as hell.
