01. The city of Heropa is what one might expect from a small, bright and cheery place, where locals are friendly enough and local shop owners might offer a free drink to welcome you to their fair city. Some of the locals might thank you for always lending your service to the nation and others might not say anything. In fact, some people might back away from any imPort who quite obviously looks like they aren't from around the neighborhood. Once in a while there's a look of disdain on someone's face and hushed voices.

An upset, deeply masculine voice wonders aloud: "More of them, when we already know they can't protect us? That's just painting a bigger target on the city's back!"

"That's just what Ronald Chump says!" Exclaims a young woman. She raises her fist in anger at the imPort-hating individual. "We're not going to tolerate bigots here!"

02. De Chima, Virginia, is a large city with a healthy economy, and though it's quieter, there are just as many citizens awed at your presence. Science and technology are the lifeblood of this city, so you're likely to come across a good many locals taking your picture with the newest of devices. Be forewarned: since FanPort happened, imPort fandom is at a new height. Don't be surprised if people start following you just to see if you'll do anything TMZ-worthy.

The trick is to stay calm, and don't wig out if someone asks what you think about imPort shipping.

03. Maurtia Falls, Pennsylvania, is having a rainy day. The streets seem to be running with water, the sky can't seem to stop crying. You might want to check out some consumerism-inclined shelter, be that a smoky and dart-eyed bar full of grumbling locals, or a grimy and industrial coffee shop (full of grumbling locals). Watch your step, newly minted imPort, because if you let on that you're fresh meat then you're likely to attract a posse of two or three sharp knuckled no-good-dooers. This is the criminally exciting part of town, so beware.

04. Nonah, North Carolina, is the liveliest of all cities; loud, busy and there's some kind of energy in the air that gets everyone buzzing with excitement. There's a baseball game going on in one of the parks amidst all those tall buildings, and you're welcome to watch! It's not an official game in the season, it's more like a friendly skirmish between local baseball teams. Midway through the game, the umpire might take note of you new imPorts -- assuming you're standing out in the crowd. He'll welcome you to throw a pitch if you'd like! Of course, the opposing team isn't too keen on the idea. Better look for more imPorts to play ball!

[The cab is pretty quick -- it's only been a minute or so since he sent it, and here it is. It hovers patiently, though the driver looks a little less so.]

C'mon, this is how we're going.

[The Replica follows his original not saying much now at all. Honestly what can he say? Sure he wants nothing to do with him, but at the same time, he has no clue about much of anything in this place. As sickening as it is, he has to let his original help him.]

[When they're dropped off in front of the Cape Canaveral Porter facility, Riku tilts his head toward the Replica, eyebrows raised.]

You want to come in, or you want to wait here?

[darkimitation]

[Of course the Replica crosses his arms and looks up at his original. He hates the height difference between them already.]

You need me to go with you, right? So these people know it's me and not you.

[resipiscent]

I just have to specify. Though I wonder how they have you marked there...?

[Does it just say 'Riku Replica'?]

Yeah, you might as well.

Maybe while I'm here, they can give me an actual name that's not yours.

[Because he really doesn't want to get mistaken for his original.]

Judging from what I've seen, they'll leave that up to you.

[He falls silent, then smiles, eyes leaving the Replica.]

Maybe you should wear a nametag.

[All of the eye rolling.]

You're really lousy at trying to be funny too I see. [He then sighs.] I don't know the first thing about naming myself, how do I do it?

[resipiscent]

[He's asking him? For whatever reason, it feels strange.]

Find something you like and ask people to call you that. That's it. Anyway -- go show them your tattoo, they can look you up with that.

[ooc: idk if they can actually do that i just made it up shh]

Find something I like? I don't like much of anything. [Except killing his original or at least being better than him.] Fine. [He stares down at his wrist after Riku mentions the tattoo.] I want this thing gone once we're done here. It's disgusting to look at.

[ooc: Yes, let's go with it and not look stupid this time.]

Well, sorry.

[Riku lifts his left arm, eyebrows raising. There's a thick scar above the tattoo there, but the words are un-warped: REGISTERED HERO.]

If you hadn't ripped up your file in the first place, you'd know that they're not removable. They're -- there are these things called nanites that we carry in our bodies, they're little machines. They project the tattoo. If you tried to get rid of it, they'd just restore it.

[darkimitation]

Why? What for?

[He stares again at his which says "unsettled", before looking at Riku's again then at that thick scar. He's now wondering what happened where he got that.]

So where'd the scar come from? You let someone beat you before I could?

[resipiscent]

Because it's the mark of an imPort, most importantly. And... yeah, something like that.

[His fingers trace it gently, and then he curls his hand around it.]

I took a hit, is all. Broke my wrist. Anyway, it doesn't matter -- we can talk about that later. Go get your stuff.

[darkimitation]

[He goes to get his stuff and indeed his file has him labeled as Riku Replica, which pisses him off. He even decides to look it over before approaching his original.]

It says Heropa 33 for my address. What does that mean?

Fine. If I'm going to be staying with you, you'd better let me do things my way.

I don't really care how you do things. As long as you don't cause trouble for Sora and I, do whatever you want.

Sora's here too? It figures. Both of you heroes always have to be together.
