Vilkommen, Herren und Damen, to the...

~TL;DR MEME~

Fucking magnets, how does this work?
Step 1: Post a list of your characters.
Step 2: Sit and twirl your moustaches until other people post their characters, then go and ask them questions about their folks. It can be anything, from "So how deep DO Tony Stark's daddy issues run?" (Answer: "they swim amongst giant squid and anglerfish and the trench the kaiju came out of") to "Tell me your least favorite thing about the DC canon" (Answer: "Holy shit are there some cockmongling dingleberries running that company").
Step 3: Other people will ask YOU questions. You go and answer those questions, and be polite - ask THEM a question in return after you're done answering it! (So, it's not just "Nick Burkhardt decided to become a cop when he heard about police brutality and wanted to get in on that" but also you follow up with "What magnificent auroch did Loki hunt to get those beautiful horns?") Then when THEY answer their question, they'll ask YOU a question! ("They came from being cuckolded in Shakespearean times. What are Nick Burkhardt's favorite sunglasses?") And the you ask THEM A QUESTION AGAIN! And they ask YOU! And you ask THEM!! And they ask YOU!!!! So that it's a great big patty-cake of QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS!!!
Step 4: Repeat ad infinitum until we break the motherfucking internet

идите идите идите козлы

lmao damn are her parents seriously superman and wonder woman or is it like, one of those "it's obviously them but never stated" sort of deals?

Also I'm going entirely into headcanon territory here but im pretty sure sanageyama modeled himself after a combination of super sentai protagonists and shounen manga protagonists. Like he's very stereotypical when he's really hamming it up, being HOTBLOODED!! and FULL OF RESOLVE!! and shounen as hell, but i think these are just behaviors he probably admired as a child when he was watching/reading them and thought he'd be really cool if he emulated them. he isn't

Even if he knows by now life isn't as simple as they are in the shows/manga and you can't always be a hero in such a straightforward way, I think he still fondly remembers the ones he grew up with anyway and still aspires to be like them, just not nearly as much as he did when he was a kid.

Of course now that he's a superhero in superhero city filled with SUPERHEROS he's probably getting more into the idea again.

Does Eiko ever worry she might hurt people by not knowing her own limits?

It's the latter. There's a scene at the end of the first OVA where her dad's reading a newspaper that's a parody of the Daily Planet and her mom is holding up an outfit that clearly has the Superman "S" on it. In the final OVA, the mom's wearing an apron with a top and bottom emulating Wonder Woman's outfit (can provide pics if desired).

Ironically, while Eiko is canonically pretty clumsy when she's not paying attention, she's had enough training and time using her strength that she's never really concerned about hurting other people. BUT...as a precaution, her parents also fitted her with a pair of power suppressing armbands (kind of like the ones Wonder Woman wears). She's only shown without them for a short while, but it's clear that her strength is kind of astronomical without them.

Does his outfit have any sort of significance (canonblind) or is it just par for the course of the show?

Yep! Clothing in Kill la Kill is actually a major plot point. They're made up of alien lifeforms called life fibers that basically forced humanity to evolve beyond all other life forms while they were still cavemen, and for much of the modern day timeline the show takes part during, life fibers are trying to consume the planet and then blow it up to spread themselves across the universe and consume more planets.

Sanageyama is one of the only four humans on Earth capable of handling a uniform as strong as his is, made out of 30% life fibers(the stronger ones are all worn by people who can wear them due to plot reasons.) The uniforms themselves give humans superhuman abilities, and the 30% uniforms are even able to transform into secondary forms and make their wearers even more powerful than other uniforms can.

As a random little extra he's also gone through the most uniforms in the show, having had no less than four, in that order. His current uniform looks identical to his icons, except it's black and the metallic trims are all gold.

I guess keeping it clothing related, how does Eiko feel about fashion? Does she try and stay up with current trends and be fashionable, or is she more comfortable with things that're easier to wear?

Eiko likes to be within current trends as far as clothing goes. Considering she went to school in Japan, obviously her school attire consisted of a uniform so she's getting quickly adjusted to wearing whatever she wants to school. She likes to dress comfortably, but is more than happy to sacrifice functionality if it can make her look pretty.

Hmmm...what're your shipping preferences with Uzu? Does he have a canon love interest or UST with any of the other characters?
