When he's got free time, he likes consuming media, particularly when accompanied with a friend -- books, games, movies, tv, etc etc. are all fair game for him. What are your character's plans?: To keep on trucking on and do his superhero bullshit tbh!!

What kind of plots are you after?: He needs more friends! Most of his base has been ported out (which I feel like I've been saying for a while, oops), so I'm always looking to form some new, concrete bonds. Other than that, I'm open - slice of life shenanigans, superhero team-ups, supervillain squabbling, it all works! Themes I usually run with with Jaime are: the nature of being a superhero (Especially if you're underaged), AI RIGHTS, family bonds, and redemption, so if you wanna play with any of those, hmu! He also offers training to baby superheroes.

RUNDOWN -- what are your character's skills, likes/dislikes, urgent needs?:
Kaneki Ken used to be a human who was turned into a ghoul - a cannibalistic humanoid species - by a psychotic doctor. He went through a lot of tragedy, torture and trauma, and has mental illness which includes PTSD, hallucination and personality disorders involving abandonment issues, parental issues, paranoia and so on.

In canon, kaneki lost his memories and from that, Haise Sasaki (hence the two names) was born and for three years he was shaped by the government (specifically the branch that hunts Ghouls, the CCG) who groomed (and abused) him. When his memories came back, a lot of "shounen-manga-bullshit" happened and he is now wanted by the CCG and became the One Eyed King (aka Ghoul savior. he is meant to help all the ghouls and reach an understanding between humans and ghouls).

He also found out his government is corrupt and shitty, so that really helped him to be paranoid of this one.

What are your character's plans?:

- Kaneki has been talking to Darlene about possibly hacking the porter. Somewhere in the future, there is the chance they'll build a team that can at least talk to the porter and get some answers about the AI currently residing in it. And maybe Lachesis.

- Kaneki is currently involved with figuring out what happened during the blackout, heaven Scent, DARPA and OTO, along with many other imPorts. THERE ARE SIGN-UPS CURRENTLY HAPPENING FOR THOSE INTERESTED IN JOINING.

- Kaneki realizes he really needs to learn how to hack, so this is like his priority number 843578945. But for real, if anyone wishes to teach him how to hack, he is a very fast learner and really would love to be able to do it.

- Mothering everyone he can. Sasaneki is actually a huge mother-hen and I'd love some shenanigans about that!
- Training, sparring, teaching people any kind of fighting abilities. Kaneki is AMAZING at hand-to-hand combat and sword fighting styles. He would also use his kagune too, if anyone wants some really serious fighting.
- Cooking. he knows how to cook really darn well, even if he can't eat anything. Kaneki is an amazing cook, honestly, just ask him and he will deliver.

RUNDOWN: Chaotic good. Rural child turned city cop turned sad mercenary who radiates cynicism but is actually an intense idealist. Mentioned a little while back in the Majority Report for being murdered, twice. Trying very hard to be better at life but basically still pendulums between acting like a five year old and being somewhat functional. Has too many feelings. Info sheet here.

SKILLS: building and disassembling explosives, drinking large quantities of alcohol, reading/sharing memories (more here), rambling about art history, being professionally Australian, brawler, bullshitter, animal trivia, Melbourne.

RUNDOWN -- what are your character's skills, likes/dislikes, urgent needs?: Dandy wants to be famous and he wants to murder people and, as of his arrival, really wants to try some video games out. He's a huge brat that cries a lot but is also very capable of killing the people who upset him. He really needs and craves positive attention from others but he also craves violence and murder, and those two goals tend to get in the way of each other a lot. Dandy is smart and can be charming when he wants to be, too, although he usually play up the qualities that make other people trust and/or underestimate him.
What are your character's plans?: He's brand new so I don't have any concrete plans with him right now. I'd love to get him involved with anything! I do have a post for him up on this months's event plotting post, and am still looking for him to wake up by either killing someone or being killed.

Is your character open for pairings?: Yes, although it'll be tough to find anyone who is actually compatible with him. He's significantly more likely to be attracted to non-humans or odd-looking humans.

He's a quick-learning, quick-thinking and creative problem-solver; a formidable team player; and one hell of a heavy hitter, whether he's throwing friendship like a punch or actually slamming your face with his fist. Pretty laid back, he likes spending time at arcades, fast food joints and bakeries, the beach, and just about anywhere any game of any kind can be played, even if he sucks at the majority of them. He's also extremely into music and fashion, the late Prince being one of his primary inspirations. Basically, if it's "fun" he's on board, all you have to do is be really good at selling whatever it is because...he's kind of an easy mark. Speaking of easy marks though, pranking people is another of his favorite activities! So you might find yourself on the receiving end of one of his dumb jokes one day. As for things he doesn't like, so long as you don't insult his hair or hurt the people he cares about (or anyone for that matter) he'll stay chill. He is a cunning and intellectual planner who fuels his addiction to control with manipulation and hallucinogens. He's never ready to quit, though he believes he has the perfect exit strategy. Crane's positive he can manipulate someone to run his trials, pretty much. He is a legitimately competent psychiatrist underneath his lack of ethics and insight if you can put up with him.

What are your character's plans?:

To rebuild his reputation following his experiments. His retirement from villanry to focus on his research might interest those who form dubious relationships or believe in the good in people.

Does your character have a secret identity?:

Yes! The Scarecrow. Crane is more himself with his mask on than this face. He's not keeping this secret and neither am I, so if your character has seen his mask or been affected by his work, I'm happy for them to enlighten others to his M.O. Anyone from DC comics familiar with his I.D. can leave Jonathan alone or spread the word, too. I'm happy to say they can also come up to his face and squint.

No. This does not mean I'm uninterested in the psychology of why.

Always! Crane is an awful person who deserves to face consequences. He delights in the suffering of others and the sensation of power and control that comes with making someone suffer. He attacks people emotionally and psychologically because it reflects his fascination with the mind and his desire to do so in a personal, intimate way.

Is your character interested in teams?:

Perhaps! He's worked alongside others in the past; the League of Shadows, Falcone and Bane. Teams are not something he understands emotionally but analytically; they must provide him with a sense of authority and self-assurance. They are not something he now actively seeks and doesn't see the need for right away. This is because Crane fears being at the mercy of others that might harm him. He loathes the implication of strong emotional dependence being found in others. His need to dominate generally doesn't lend itself well to teamwork. He wouldn't be a reliable member. Crane's in it for Crane.

What kind of plots are you after?:

Anyone who might develop a need to return home! Crane has become attached to Gotham, where he has more freedom in being himself and developing his work without restraint. He has become incapable of blending in with society and practising medicine with a license and has more or less dashed away his comfortable life here to pieces. He prefers to be perceived as a monster not a person, and the chances of that happening back home are greater.

Regarding psychological themes, while his predatory personality would make such development frequent, I am interested in having him emotionally connect with others who have experienced similar trauma as the abuse in his backstory. Crane's capacity for empathy might not exist, but he can identify people facing challenges he’s experienced - and defend them as a means of owning his own past. I am equally interested in confronting his inability to feel confident around those on his level. So a power differential where he lacks authority might be interesting? Probation officers, therapists, telepathic people he's developing CR with, etc. He's also intellectually curious and fascinated by those who are guarded or over-expressive, probably because of that addiction to control.

I'd like people to get involved with his trials in fear toxin therapy! This will develop his research in an ethical direction. Crane's always on the hunt for fascinating test subjects - the type his work will help. I'm also on the hunt for people who, like Batman, will keep him on the straight and narrow. Or throw temptation in his way and make him fall off the wagon.

Crane's also something of a literature snob. I'd love to have him do something with that.

RUNDOWN -- what are your character's skills, likes/dislikes, urgent needs?:

Skills- He is intelligent, schooled in law, and dangerously genre-savvy for the most part(without getting 4th wall-breaking). Dio is super strong and tends to use his powers in rather creative ways.

Likes/Dislikes- Dio enjoys being evil, quite particularly, and he likes(loves) to see people being shamelessly evil. Otherwise, he enjoys reading, cars, technology, and rock and roll. He's a man of the 80s, both the 1880s and the 1980s, and he enjoys all of the things that can come of those eras.

Needs- All he needs right now are good hunting grounds and ways to dispose of the bodies. He isn't good at not killing people for his food.

What are your character's plans?: Dio right now wants to find out if anyone knows him from his previous stays, and once he has addressed that issue, he intends to work on making a name for himself. Dio wants to gain power by associating with powerful people for the time being, and is still otherwise formulating his plan.

Does your character have a secret identity?: Nope!
Is your character open for pairings?: Absolutely, but boy you gotta get past his personality and Good Luck.
Are you open to having your character get hurt? Or, for villains, hurt others?: Yes to both! Dio is open for hurting people, very much, and I am open to him getting his ass whooped in return.

What kind of plots are you after?: I'm lookin for good Establishing stuff for now, getting Dio associated with people, both evil or good, and preferably powerful. People who are less powerful can work, but his interest is not likely to be as strong.

Are you looking for roommates?: Sure! He might eventually get talked into moving in with canonmates, but for the moment he's determined to remain independent in the government housing.
What is your character's job?: Gossip Columnist for online publication Oh Yes They Did. He's still completely bewildered by this but determined to do his best at it. He will also be looking for a second job (almost definitely as a mechanic) in the near future.

RUNDOWN -- what are your character's skills, likes/dislikes, urgent needs?: He loves cars, books, and magic, and constantly wants to know how things work. He's only recently left an abusive home situation and has also recently been dumped by his girlfriend, so he's just arrived in De Chima during a time of upheaval in his life. Please make friends with him.
What are your character's plans?: For the time being, his plans are to recover from the shock of being here in this new life, then get a job as a mechanic. Long term, he'll probably be looking at higher education, but he hasn't yet decided for what.
Does your character have a secret identity?: Not really. He identifies as The Magician, but it's not so much a secret identity because he's not exactly doing anything with it. He doesn't yet know how to use his powers, and he's more of a support superhero than a vigilante, so. The city's electrical grid runs extra efficient when he's in the vicinity, but that's about it at the moment.
Is your character open for pairings?: Tentative yes. He's slow-burn for all romance and prefers having a strong friendship before things develop toward more. Also his canon boyfriend is here and there are plans for extended slow-burn poly awkwardness, so Adam's currently slightly distracted on the topic of romance, and doesn't yet know that he's bisexual. That said, I'm totally open to all friendships that might or might not turn into more, so. If you have ideas or desires, talk at me. We can try to make something happen. Male preference for serious romantic relationships, open to all for cuddle/kissing friendships.
Are you open to having your character get hurt? Or, for villains, hurt others?: BRING ME ALL THE EMOTIONAL PAIN. He's totally available for hurting in any manner if it'll create plot or drama. Talk at me. Tell me your ideas.
Is your character interested in teams?: Not at the moment. He's kind of already got one, because he's got a fair amount of canonmates here.
What kind of plots are you after?: Anything. At the moment Adam really just needs to meet people and develop relationships. He's not quite yet ready to get involved in any big plots, but once he's settled in a bit better he will totally be available for larger plot hooks.

Name: Yuichiro Hyakuya (actually Yuichiro Amane but he does not remember his real last name.)
Canon: Owari no Seraph l Seraph of the End
Character's (approximate) age: Sixteen in canon, seventeen given the year he's spent here by now.
Character's powers: Cursed Gear - Ashuramaru: A sword with the specific abilities to bypass a vampire's healing ability. Can also heal Yuichiro if he gets injured. Comes with a risk of the demon inside powering said weapon possessing Yuu, though.
Seraph gene: Because of experiments when he was a kid, Yuu is also part seraph. This means when he loses control emotionally, he gets kind of terrifying. Sprouting creepy black wings, his eyes going black and gold, spouting off about killing sinners and trying to attack any human nearby.
Can be countered by knocking him out or hugging him to remind him of his humanity. He ends up passed out for a while in the aftermath of this in recovering from it.
Is your character registered/will they be?: Currently Registered. This may or may not last.
Where does your character live?: Heropa. Residence #23 but probably moving.
Are you looking for roommates?: Nope, or, last I checked it was full, though like I said, Yuu, Krul and Mika will be moving to find their own place so.

RUNDOWN -- what are your character's skills, likes/dislikes, urgent needs?:

Rundown - Bratty teen who was claimed to be demon spawn by his parents who tried to kill him when he was eight. Subsequently died themselves in the fire his mother set to try kill her son, ended up at the Hykauya Sect's orphanage where he met Mika. On Christmas. About the next day or so, a virus hit, in 2012 and killed off most of the adult/teen population - those over thirteen. The vampires took that chance to roll on in and gather up the younger kids because they need their blood supply. So, Yuu and his orphan family were underground in the vampire city for four years, protected by the vampires in exchange for giving their blood. Then, when Yuu and Mika are twelve, they end up attempting to escape, only to have the rest of the orphans killed by Ferid, and Mika losing an arm where Yuu runs off thinking he left Mika there for dead, to be taken in by Guren Ichinose and the military.

He trains with Guren for four years, ends up getting in to the military and goes on missions to kill vampires. Until he ends up losing control and revealing his seraph gene. Both the military and vampires want to take advantage of said power in their fighting, so he ends up on the run.

Essentially, he's a powerful, bratty, reckless idiot with a heart of gold. With memory issues and a complex over experimenting. And a trigger with the word 'livestock' because vampires are generally assholes like that.

What are your character's plans?: Find a way to help Ashuramaru and Krul reunite, help Mika regain his humanity from being a vampire, debate whether to take Krul up on her offer to turn him to stick with Mika until said miracle of returning Mika's humanity, find out more regarding the Porter, finish school. Maybe among all this try not to lose control (But ha, Soldat plot) and find a way to somehow suppress the seraph gene to avoid said potential death and destruction as a result.
Does your character have a secret identity?: Unless you count 'salt king' from his seraph gene. Nope.
Is your character open for pairings?: The most oblivious idiot. But there are Plans in the making so. Nope.
Are you open to having your character get hurt? Or, for villains, hurt others?: Yuu gets into losing fights a lot in canon anyway, so. Yes. I am down for this. Just don't expect him to take it sitting down, or for certain friends not to come help/retaliate somehow.
Is your character interested in teams?: Sure. He has his squad back home. Teamwork is a work in progress, but still.
What kind of plots are you after?: Sparring buddies, negative cr, cr to call him out on his dumbass idiocy and recklessness sometimes, friends, friends that yell at each other/bicker because he actually misses that with not having Kimizuki around, general sol stuff because he does not get so much downtime back home with the military and all, family/found family and that importance in Yuu's life given he has no blood relations alive, Probably getting manipulated/used - intentionally allowing this or not because this is a Thing in canon. Maybe having him open up to someone outside of Mika or Nike about stuff going down back home (no Yuu it is Not a Good Idea to even consider bringing back your orphan family from the dead. Even for a second. Especially when you don't have even half the context of the consequences from when Guren tried this.)
