01. The city of Heropa is what one might expect from a small, bright and cheery place. The locals are friendly enough and local shop owners might offer a free drink to welcome you to their fair city. Some of the locals might thank you for always lending your service to the nation and others might not say anything. In fact, some people might back away from any imPort who quite obviously looks like they aren't from around the neighborhood. Once in a while there's a look of disdain on someone's face and hushed voices. A snippy voice wonders aloud: "My taxes are going to their parties and other expenses? When are they going to do something for us for a change? Why if they weren't around, I bet the Soviets--" These naysayers may, however, find themselves hushed with a judgmental: "You couldn't do what they do even if you had powers. They don't have to help us, you know!"

02. De Chima, Virginia, is a large city with a healthy economy, and though it's quieter, there are just as many citizens awed at your presence. Heavy winds have people grasping at their newspapers and constantly brushing hair out of their faces, but that doesn't distract them from crowding you in excitement if you're obviously from a different time or world, or just let it slip that you're a newcomer. Children and young teenagers are especially likely to ask for an autograph and a photo.

Some locals seem less enthused to see you. They never make an approach, but they can be overheard scoffing and muttering something about cameras and an incident involving gas. "Biological warfare... we sure some of them haven't defected?"

03. Maurtia Falls, Pennsylvania, is normally known for being a little more on the apathetic side, but there's been tension in the atmosphere lately, contrasted by headlines broadcasting petty, unimportant local news and no worldly news.

People are not as friendly in this city and go out of their way to avoid walking down the same sidewalk as the more obvious looking imPorts pass through. Local cops say nothing, but they scowl at those imPorts and mutter under their breaths resentfully about "vigilantes". However, not all locals turn the other way seeing imPorts; some of them will offer a polite enough smile and thank them for their hard work. They don't stop to clarify what they mean, though.

04. Nonah, North Carolina, is the liveliest of all cities. It's loud, busy and there's some kind of energy in the air that gets everyone buzzing with excitement. Anyone who they come to determine an imPort is bombarded with all sorts of offers; job offers, advertising gigs, spokesperson for advocating children stay in school, etc. Anything and everything! You name it. Shops offer discounts for food and clothing, whatever they need. Advertisements are abound for imPorts to make appearances at various, televised celebrations, luring them in with promises of free food, merchandise, and payment. ImPort action figures and merchandise are on sale now, and every corner's coffee shop is still serving festive peppermint goods of every shape and form.

[She fishes her pamphlet out of her pocket, it's crumpled up pretty bad but she tosses it over anyway. In the back where powers are listed it says 'Substance Abuse' and 'Butterflies.']

No clue what it means.

[ She takes the pamphlet and looks at Chloe's powers. She can't help the expression that comes to her face when she reads them—a mixture of smugness and pity. She already knew, of course, that her own power is pretty much the best, but compared to this girl's... jeez. ]

Wow. I've seen weirder. But not much weirder.

Eh. I've got a friend who can rewind time so I figure, you know, most of the not-weird is already used up.

[She grins.]

Besides, maybe it knows something I need.

[She shakes the cigarette slightly.]

[fayzedandconfused]

Maybe she should've rewound time to stop you from getting shot.

[ Brianna, always saying the right thing. ]

Can I have one of those? [ She doesn't really want one—no good for her lungs—but she does want to see if Chloe will let her get away with it. ]

[helladoomed]

She did. Long story.

[She gives the girl a 'look' that clearly says she is not getting a cigarette from Chloe.]

What's your name, kid?

[fayzedandconfused]

Brianna, but everybody calls me Breeze.

[ She holds out her (admittedly filthy) hand for Chloe to shake. ]

[helladoomed]

Breeze, huh.

[Chloe doesn't seem to care about dirty hands at all. She does at least switch hands with her cigarette though.]

I'm Chloe.

[fayzedandconfused]

Cool. [ She rocks back and forth on her heels a few times, fidgety, and looks around. ] So do you know where I can get a change of clothes? I'm thinking, like, a leather jacket.

[ The coolest, obviously. But in all seriousness, she needs a new shirt, at least. This one is getting grossed out looks everywhere she goes. She supposes she could just zip into a store somewhere and steal one, but that seems like a crappy way to enter purgatory. ]

[helladoomed]

[Chloe grins at that.]

Actually...I might. You been to Nonah yet?

[fayzedandconfused]

No. What's there?

[ Judging by the way Chloe is grinning, it's either something legitimately cool or some kind of trap. ]

[helladoomed]

Another city. We gotta take the porter to get there.

[She climbs to her feet, standing on the bench, then steps down and turns around.]

Come on. Shouldn't take too long.

[fayzedandconfused]

[ Brianna shrugs. If it's a trap, she can run for it. Otherwise, she has nothing else to do, and she's sick of these gross clothes. ]

Okay. Cool.

[helladoomed]

[A bus ride and a porter trip later, and they're stepping out in the bustling city of Nonah. Already the sounds of people calling out to imports can be heard in the distance. Chloe looks down at the girl, cigaretteless now since she ditched it before they'd come inside.]

You any good at acting?

[fayzedandconfused]

[ Is she a good actor? No, not really. But does she believe she's a good actor? Most definitely. ]

Oh, please. Duh.

[helladoomed]

Hmm. [Chloe seems to look her over for a minute, trying to decide if that's true. Then she reaches out suddenly and ruffles the kid's hair.]

Okay. Aim for...innocent. Cute would be good too. And lemmie do the talking, alright?

[And off she heads towards the stores.]

[fayzedandconfused]

[ Brianna rolls her eyes and attempts to fix her hair. It's probably a lost cause. ]

I am cute. [ Innocent, not so much, but she can fake that, at least. She follows Chloe, glad she doesn't have any weapons on her right now. ]

[helladoomed]

[Chloe just rolls her eyes. The stores are full of people shouting for imports, and she picks one out that looks like it probably sells clothes in Brianna's size...she's not positive there will be leather jackets, but hey, beggers can't be chooser.]

Hey! [She approaches the guy standing outside before he can shout out to them.] How'd you like the satisfaction of knowing there was an import out there acting like a walking advertisement for your store, huh?

[She gestures towards Brianna. Time to shine, kid.]

[ Brianna grins and waves. She can look really cute when she wants to, despite the bloody clothes. Even though Chloe told her not to say anything, she can't resist hamming it up a bit. ]

I love this place already.

[helladoomed]

[For once, hamming it up seemed to work. As the guy is almost immediately convinced.]

Hmm. Alright ladies, come on in. She can pick out whatever she wants. But she has to wear it the rest of the day, deal?

[Chloe immediately nods and ushers Brianna in.]

You won't regret this.

[And then to her.]

You the heard the man. Go crazy, kid.

Oh my god.

[ She can't believe that actually worked. This is basically the coolest thing that's ever happened to her in her life, except for waking up with superpowers. This is the kind of thing she dreamed about back before the FAYZ, when she was stuck at Coates Academy, and then again when the Dome went transparent and she could see all the people watching her every move. This is what it's like to be famous.

She zips into the store, for the first time since her arrival really kicking on the speed, but once she gets in there and sees all her options, she comes to a sudden stop, unsure where to start. ]

Holy shiii... [ Wait, probably not the best thing to say if she's going to be representing this store, or whatever. ]

[SHe'll get a little bap on the back of the head from Chloe at the swear, as she comes to a stop behind her, because they are trying to pull a con here dammit.]

What do you usually like to wear?

[fayzedandconfused]

I don't know. Cool stuff.

[ She picks up a denim jacket with stars patched onto the elbows. ] What's cool these days?

[ It's been over a year since she's had any options, and a year in fashion is like... a really long time. ]

[helladoomed]

[Chloe looks at the jacket, then down at herself. She's wearing a t-shirt that's almost a whifebeater with a skull on it, that makes no effort at all to hide her bra, a men's blazer she was pretending was a jacket, and torn up jeans.]

Iiiiiii am probably not the right person to ask that question.

I wish Max were here, she's a little hipster, she'd know what you need.

[fayzedandconfused]

Okay. Okay, I got this.

[ She zips around the store, grabbing at clothes and accessories as she passes by, until she has what she thinks is probably a pretty cool outfit. ]

Be right back I'm gonna— [ Before she's finished her sentence, she's running into one of the changing stalls and slamming the door behind her. ]

[Chloe actually burst out laughing when the girl disappeared into the changing room, shrugging at the clerk.]

She's very energetic.
