They were at some sort of party for this Christmas thing. Finn wasn't too clear on the details but he resolved to find out more when he got a minute. Turned out, getting a minute during Christmas was laughable at best. At least the hustle had been fun so far, though.

"Hey, man." Finn stopped beside Poe with two flutes of some sort of sparkly drink, handing one over with a little smile. "Liking the party so far?"

Yes, he noticed the mistletoe above their heads. No, he had no idea what it was or represented. It was everywhere these days. Decoration? He figured he'd find out eventually...

She hasn't really noticed the mistletoe above when she sees her friend and grins widely, making a beeline to him. "Hey, mate," she calls as she approaches.

None of the Christmas stuff that most people hold dear matters much to Rikki. She's never celebrated Christmas the way everyone else does. Or, rather, she hasn't done since her sixth one. Somewhere between her sixth Christmas and seventh one, her mum bailed and she and her dad started their own traditions.

Mistletoe had not, obviously, been one of them.

It's always nice to see Klaus having fun, though, since most of the time when she sees him, he's looking more down in the dumps or tired or strung out or something. Seldom does his smile feel, to her, like it reaches his eyes. It looks like it is now, though, and it's really nice to see. "Having fun?"

Looking around for someone to talk to, Derek's eyes fall on Diego and he starts toward his friend to say hello. Derek's not a terribly social guy — even if he's been trying — but Diego's even less so, so it doesn't surprise Derek to see him standing alone.

But then he notices the mistletoe and snorts a laugh as he comes nearer. "Dude...you picked the worst place to stand," he laughs. He points up lazily and laughs again. "I wouldn't mind getting caught under a piece, but you should've been more careful."

He has a feeling that Diego would be a little less thrilled about a random person coming up to kiss him than Derek might be. Not that Derek would be thrilled, but certainly less uncomfortable than his friend.
